as a rule of thumb, i use no more than 1g of Root Better per plant :-) If you plant seeds directly, use Root Better, the microbes antagonize the seed casing and so free the root, which then gets early colonization. Your plant can begin very early modulations via the associations of fungus and the related biomes of bacteria and predatory protozoa to super boost root development from the get go via the increased rate of Auxins and other phyto hormones available. Secondary metabolites secreted by all three groups of organisms will fundamentally increase growth rates, stress resistance and certainly reduce damping off syndromesOk so just watched the vid, wow, very cool... What I saw on Tube a while ago, was a guy that would go to transplant and do that exact same thing, sprinkle some in hole before transplant, since then I have been entrigued, but this vid helped so much, great info Thx ~
So now what Im thinking is if Mycos are used, when I get done with harvest, what do you do with your medium, it would be reusable right? Why growing with Microbes gives us organic growers a evolutionary advantage over synthetics, until now, largely lost to the indoor grower
Bacterial Quorum Sensing as a Control Point in Rhizosphere Nitrogen Transformations
K. M. DeAngelis, M. K. Firestone, S. E. Lindow;
University of California, Berkeley, CA.
Rhizosphere bacteria play an important role in the soil N cycle and plant N nutrition through the release of extracellular enzymes. Temperate terrestrial plants are generally N-limited because most soil N is organic: chitin, proteins, lignoproteins and nucleotides. These compounds require digestion by microbial exoenzymes, likely the rate-limiting step in N mineralization. Proteobacteria in particular dominate rhizosphere bacterial communities, suggesting their importance in soil community enzyme activity. There is also evidence of specific interactions between soil bacteria and plants via quorum sensing (QS): root exudates of many plant species can disrupt bacterial QS and impact QS-controlled behaviors, like exoenzyme production. We hypothesize that (1) bacterial QS is an important control point in rhizosphere N mineralization, and that (2) density-dependent responses by specific populations are primarily responsible for much of the conversion of organic N to inorganic, mineralized N. We have examined bacterial communities in microcosms grown with Avena barbata, and our results so far are (a) Gross rates of N mineralization using 15N pool dilution were affected by addition of acyl-homoserine lactone (AHL) signals to bulk soil. (b) Chitinase and protease specific activity was significantly higher in the rhizosphere compared to bulk soil. (c) A whole-cell biosensor that responds sensitively to a broad range of AHL signals detected more QS signal in the rhizosphere compared to bulk soil. (d) Isolation of chitin- and protein- degrading bacteria from Avena rhizosphere soil reveals that 65% of isolates (347 of 533) did not survive pasteurization, 39% of those had either exo-protease or exo-chitinase activity (136 of 347), and 20 of the exoenzyme active isolates (111) produced AHL detected by the biosensor. While QS appears to play a role in rhizosphere N cycling and plant N nutrition, though the interactions are more complex than originally hypothesized. The biosensor reflects the increased cell numbers and activity observed in the rhizosphere. Our data indicate that signaling plays a major role in the soil N cycle.

thats quite right mate. If like me you get another plant growing before you harvest the last, you can reduce further the need to replace mycos and so make 50g go an awful long way, saving money on media and time in replanting, less waste. I simply cut at base the old plant, allowing the new plant to host the VAMs maintaining its status. I always put a new plant in before i cull. I do not feed P. The mycos will degrade the lignin, cellulose and chitn etc from the old root ball, recycling this and any stored minerals therein in to plant usable enzymes and P. This material is resonant, you will get faster growth rates from this than external P.So now what Im thinking is if Mycos are used, when I get done with harvest, what do you do with your medium, it would be reusable right?
Hm, so bfore harvesting a plant, plant another plant in that same pot? then how long before the original plant can be harvested?thats quite right mate. Do not use media that has had sick plants, even if you used Mycos.
Do you have to use Paypal to buy Better Root, or can I use my debit card?thats quite right mate. soon as its ready, as with anything in life buddy timing is everything, for this practice is the only answerHm, so bfore harvesting a plant, plant another plant in that same pot? then how long before the original plant can be harvested?
no i am sure you can use a debit, or make a transfer using transferwise bro, this will save you shit loads on gateway fees, direct bank style without the direct bank headachesDo you have to use Paypal to buy Better Root, or can I use my debit card?
will get Alan to resolve this asap email what you want to andy@betterorganix.com I will sort it out this end if you like?Well sht, Im trying to checkout and it says you will be redirected for payment and is just not doing anything... Website must be messed up,
weird it worked for me bro I just tried itWell sht, Im trying to checkout and it says you will be redirected for payment and is just not doing anything... Website must be messed up,
IDK, I put in card info and it started to work and just stayed like that, I tried it 5 or 6 times and same thing, idkweird it worked for me bro I just tried it

Ya I did already eco told me andys email, I ordered the Root Better, but now Im trying to get him to add the Nano Breathe, no biggie if he missed the Nano message...ThxShoot andy@betterorganix.com with what you want.. The site is in process of upgrading I know.. They will invoice and help you out with ease =).. My first order I did it this way before the site was up.. :D

cool...I am sure they will be able to add it with no issues.. Andy or Alan will get you lined out before it ships or make it right.. Make sure to post your results with Nano Breathe after you start your applications and your Root Better Results..
I will be posting some root porn pictures maybe tonight of only Root Better no other additives and you will be pleased.. :D
Quick Note--- Remember Nano Breathe is a great source for calcium and magnesium so if you are going to use it with synthetics I would recommend laying off the cal-mag when applying.. It will show you on the product label also..
Cheers
all sorted mate and breathe added, sorry for the hassle, issues with Checkout2 on the Shopify side, never the less, not something you guys should be exposed too imo. I am correcting this as Moto has intimated :) The site today...yes...erm... I just lit a total rocket up the arse of the person we pay to be responsible for this. I have explained how we expect an ethos of ownership here at BOX.IDK, I put in card info and it started to work and just stayed like that, I tried it 5 or 6 times and same thing, idk
nope i got you brother, sorry site problems took me away from being my usual attentive self. Back in the game now, and your goods will be dealt with personally by Alan from this point while the outside issues are contained on the site with Checkout2. Did you see a PE101 error? no bother if not, Shopify is a paypal thing mate, much like the usual behavior of such an animal, they drag heals with regards open and fair markets, the otherwise open API is seemingly a not so open API with regards integration of payment gateways outside of Paypal. The roadmap is 2017, by which time we will be living in a magento world of open source and self control from such liabilities as PayPalYa I did already eco told me andys email, I ordered the Root Better, but now Im trying to get him to add the Nano Breathe, no biggie if he missed the Nano message...Thx
PM here mate before you do, I will give you a code to help out on that :-) I wont do it now, it might not work by the time you go to use it LOL. Lets do it when you're readyWhat up moto. Been busy. Im definately interested in the BOX products. I was wanting to wait until i was out of my current nutes, but dont think i can wait much longer lol. Probably gonna get the whole line up and see whats up. Only hear good things from you guys. Havent taken many pics lately but will try to take some tonight. I always have issues uploading pics from my phone tho. Works with my tablet.
