I got doves that hang out with my dogs on the fence. They seem to like them. A year or two ago I had some black birds that showed up on the wall and were laughing causing a ruckus. Totally reminiscent of the black crows from the looney tunes. The doves are way less annoying. The black crows straight up ass hoes.
The smarter the bird the more annoying they can be!

Loving those pics as well. I recognised it immediately only because used to be up and down that way semi regularly in another life. Lovely stuff. ☺️
Thanks, lenhug! Where are you now, still the north east?

Definitely! I'll tweak it a bit as needed. At 64f on the AC the tent with lights on lits around 75f.
I have hvac. It’s getting hot here so my ac is running more often and I started see an increase in temperature with additional water in my pots and the humidity was lower today, the tent is back in the mid 70s with dry pots. I am on a wild ride and along for the long haul to get it right. I haven’t tweaked much except for opening the door and pointing a fan. Didn’t adjust anything to see the variables.

That makes sense. It's already been pushing upper 80s around here. A couple days without AC the tents were almost at 85f.

It's a wild ride for sure, but if you hang on tight and course correct as necessary it is an unbelievably fulfilling journey.

Way out West now in SoCal but had a decade in NYC and used to motor up and down the Hudson a lot, those river towns are beautiful. We nearly bought and stayed but things change and opportunity knocks. :)
Well in terms of grow laws, and weather, sounds like you made the right choice!

Our regulations aren't set yet for rec growing, but they expect that soon. Medical and we can have 6 plants per person in the household.

I gave some clones to friends. A couple have them outside. I want to see the cali blues and the banners outside. We have a bit shorter of a season than you do, but I'm hoping for the best.

Haha my Banner and CB mothers are all at 40"+ at the moment. Outdoors I have a feeling they will become giants.

Well I won't argue with that re: the weather and laws. I've been avidly following the total shit show in NY/NJ but seems like they're finally getting it together, sort of. The dispensary license business was utterly ridiculous. I fondly remember the days of the dodgy bodegas (well, not that fondly)! 😄

I didn't realise they hadn't got the rec growing laws set yet, again ridiculous. All be sorted for the better soon though I'd hope for everyone's sake.

Those Cali Blues and Banners will go great guns I'm sure, look so good. I look forward to seeing them go skyward, Jack and the Beanstalk style! I'll have to tap you up on my next grow seeing as I'm now moving on to photos it seems, see how they do in this SoCal sunshine! 😉

I once read that when you buy "baby carrots." They are just big ugly carrots shaved down.

well.. I discovered a way to do it with much less labor... in fact, the only step in my process is NEGLECT.

Here are some test carrots.

A friend I gave 3 clones to (a cali-blues, a Bruce Banner, and a North Thunderfuck) said they are flourishing in her window. Now if the others that went direct in the ground do the same we should have some monsters on our hands. I'm hoping to get some pics from the adoptive parents soon.

I've heard people say the Blue Jay is the biggest bully in the bird world. I don't know if it's just around here, but these guys are tough.

It's hard to see without slowing the video, but if you do the woodpeckers clearly dives at one of these Blue jays before they both fly away.

And a reminder to stop and smell the roses.

I need to cut everything back. The mother tent has the top of the canopy at 44" from the soil (the tallest in here are the Banner2s and the North Thunderfuck with 75% of their tops +40")

I topped the clones... and said. "Gotta make sure they heal up before I flip..." now I'm thinking I should have cut them all back a bit more.

Looking good, looking good! 🙂

I'm also thinking I need to raise my light some more but means I'm gonna have to get right in there and raise the inline fan and everything else as well.
Thanks!

I need to figure something out. I'm as far up as the adjustable hanging gear allows. I think I may just strap the light to the top bars.

The mother tent needs the same thing done as the clone tent. Should give me a few more inches of headroom. Some of them are flying a little to close to the sun. Back left is North Thunderfuck, back middle is Cali-blues (baby huey for those that remember). Everybody in the back row has tops +48". Today is watering day.

That bluecheese is a fuckin champ. She is short but the growth at each node has turned her into a bush... almost a hedge at this point 🤣.
