I'd have to wonder if brewing that tea the same day you feed if the plants gets anything from the ingredients? Using tap water with it which is already infused with micro nutes and calcium and magnesium.

the few ppl I know who brew homemade teas brew for days on end. I like hydro ponics you should try it sometime! Cheaper than organics and taste way better too. Organics actually rob flavour from your plant unless you brew bennies they add something not in chemical nutes that could possibly add flavour.

think about it if it's so cheap to grow organic as you call it why does anything organic cost 3 times as much

Wait you brew gag tea once a week? I dont spend that amount on nutes. So you would would be wrong then saying it's cheap how much that cost you? 12$ I pay 60$ 20 for part a 20 for part b and 20 for calmag then 60 for flower nutes but the bottles last me 3 or 4 seasons. No way organics is cheaper!

Ok maybe your down for an experiment to tell if it's the tap water or your tea.. use RO water instead of tap that will tell if your formula is a winner or not

That lasts flowering? Sorry I thought you used that every feeding. On my line of work I get to work closely with farmers of scale, environmentalist, big ag company's and landscapers.

There is a reason only a small percentage grow without the use of chemicals, that's because maybe the organic ferts are cheap, but the yields are smaller and not as healthy, they tend to lose more crop to drought and disease.

Personally with my foods I miss the 80s!!!! When everything was full of chemicals like MSG.

Nowadays food taste like shit using the chemicals more natural equivalents. The 80s food is the reason for the obesity problems in north America. I fortunately was blessed with a very high metabolism and excellent genetics.

If farmers all went organic everyone here (assuming upper middle class). Would be starving to death literally more farmers would lose whole crops then the farmers that actually get to harvest. Due to mostly environmental factors.

With the amount of land used for farming as of today and more importantly the limited amount of water left on the plant. It would only be able to sustain less than 1/3 of the populations dietary needs.

So in theory chemicals would be the more efficient way of fertilizing with higher yields and more successful harvests and more robust healthy plants using less water. (The true cost of water will be the most expensive thing we will spend money on soon more expensive than we could afford!!!)

That's why I like chems over organics. Also justvmy opinion mostly ( i work in the water conservation industry fyi).

So j guess my biggest problem with your thread is your claim boasting it's a better way to grow than mine "winning formula" making claims of cheaper cost unless you lose a crop due to organic use then weer talking possibly 10000k $ loss. There is no way your so called organics can even compare to any bottle ferts.

That's just the cold hard truth

I work with hobby farmers and huge corporations cant even call them farmers.

And organic growers are far and few dont get me wrong there are some very well educated very successful organic farmers here on the thc farmer forums.

But they have years of research and quantifiable results so they have science to back them up!! They have spent there lifetime on making that winning formula.

What you did is purely shit luck unless you spent countless dollars and lost even more over a life time of research.

You have no science to back it up with! I'd imagine where you are is a very different growing conditions and if anyone follows your guessed at winning formula without replicating every co contributing condition exactly as you had it, will most likely not get the quality you lucky have.

No way it could work where I'm my tap water alone is at 750 ppm. It's between 70%-90% relative humidity on a daily basis during the growing season into fall here. It snows for 6 months a year also so season is short.

I'm glad your tea works for you but to say ti ppl that they should switch it's better is very misleading.

There are master growers here in the forum and not a single one would make claims like you are..

And they have hundreds of grows and science to back any claims they may make. Your just getting lucky right place right time.

Hey Mr Monsanto, our grandparents grew tomatoes with egg shells and coffee grounds, native Americans taught the newbs how to grow corn with dead fish, not science! Hybrid sterility, that’s what science gives the world. On this forum the biggest plants i see are from Greatlakes, she uses cow manure.

Yeah I agree with you but all those ppl are dead!!! Like I said tho logically could you grow everything that you and your family will eat the rest of the year if you had too?

Realistically probably not. Say you could could you grow it all organically? You could try not top quality for at least a couple years as you work out your tech. By then tho you've lost 2 kids to disease and starvation, you lost your wife to looting maniacs, and your own starvation has weakened you to the point where you can barely function.

As much as montsano may be hated by organics myself included, any rational person who is not into euthanasia or genocide would have to reason that gmos and chemical ferts are a necessary evil unless every one stops breeding more mouths to feed without GMOs chances are none of us would be here if we even were born wr would have starved to death already.

Compare the days of Indians and settlers you refer to. Yes they grew organically and 50%or more die before they make 5 years life expectancy was what? Ripe old age of 35.

Are you willing to sacrifice 3 billion ppl? I'd assume you might not?

Could you really deny someone life and let them die over your beliefs on gmos when I simple injection of bacteria from a crisper could totally cure them? Because of I hate to day it montesano kinda companys are the reason were here living the way and as long as we do!

Unless your religious then this conversation is moot. I believe in science very simple. Morally I'd prefer not to have montesano type company's but the logical part of my brain says I could not live the lifestyle im living now without them.

Unfortunately if you believe differently then I have a sky hook and a brake line stretcher for sale if your interested.

Everyone's high moral beliefs say genetics is playing god but who would you sacrifice to uphold your moral character?

I can grow everything my family and friends need to smoke for the year. Your plants are crap, that iso looks pure nasty and even the buds you paid retail for look dry and harsh. Just go away, you offer nothing yet criticize an accomplished grower.

Funny you should say anything mad bud. Because its nkne of your business and if you would actually read my post, assuming I explained my opinion and how I got to it. Artist has explained there opinion and how they got to it. No need for you get your back up nothing I said has been directed at you. Artist seems to defend them self's just fine. Dont be that guy. Also I was the first to say my giverments grown weed is shit and I'd never had bought it if I saw it first. My iso will get you higher than anything you ever had. Iso not just iso from mg last crip there is left over shatter and budder plus a few grams of hash I had left over.

Now back to artists and my convo thanks.

@Artist you plants do look good I have to admit, the reason i for chems is organics dont work good in hydro.

I'll see you in the solo cup challenge lol

So much aggression in this thread.
Unorthodox he may be, but for a first time indoor grow, that's a nice little plant.
