How high you got that light ? Do u have a light meter app? I ask because they just look like they may be getting more light than they can handle ? Leaves seem to be shying away from the light? Otherwise can’t wait for the flip!
I do not have a light meter app but that has been on my mind as well. The light is hung at 17 inches from the screen on 80%. That is within the manufacturer recommended height but I’m gonna look into a light meter or app. Also a few photos were right before lights out so maybe that’s why they look like they are shying away. Thanks for your input I appreciate it.

Thanks to @Moshmen for pointing out the light, took some time and adjusting but the light is more dialed in now. Filling that screen quite nicely. I think I’m gonna fill some more before flipping, I want it nice and full but still just using 1 screen not 2. I’m feeding just mega crop 1 part at .9-1 Ec still.

Flipped to 12/12 on feb 15th,first plant showed it’s sex 2 days later and it’s a female! I trimmed up some under the net and I’ll hit it again hard in about 2 weeks. Gonna keep tucking for the first 10-12 days after flip and then let them grow up some. Raised the light some more and turned the dimmer switch up to maintain ppfd I was at. The upgraded spiderfarmer se5000 is working great and the bar style lights definitely have a more even light spread than the board style lights. The show should be starting momentarily.

About to go into week 5 and really putting the weight on now. Gonna have some fat buds by the end I think. Have a little canoeing on some of the top buds on one plant that seems to be much different than the rest. I’m not too worried I believe the light was a little too strong so I backed the tops off from 1600 par to 1200par at 18 inches away. I also cleaned up under the screen around the 3 week mark of flowering. Really liking this spiderfarmer light so far.

Right now 4 weeks in I’ve been rocking the SE3000 and have a journal going. Having a dimmer is f#kng life changing...and it’s my first grow lol. I plan on swapping it out for the SE5000 tomorrow but need to change my thread title of the grow to add the light. Where’s the “contact moderator“ or admin? I can’t figure it out 😬
Say something that you aren't allowed to say. They'll find you. lol

So I bought a new Spider Farmer SE5000 (upgraded) about a month ago.
The instruction manual says the following-
SE Series Hanging Recommendations for Veg state with room temp below 82F - hang at 8" and the recommended dimming for Veg state is 60% - 90% power.

That sounded a little close to me early in veg at that power so I hung it at 16" at 40% power. My very healthy Blueberry Muffins hated it and started drooping and turning pale within a couple of days.

Long story short - Light now hangs almost 48" above the plants at week 6 of veg with dimming set to 60%.
I've read multiple accounts in the forums here where people were experiencing the same issue if you follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Don't get me wrong, I love the SE5000... they just need to re-write those instructions, otherwise your plants will be light-stressed right off the bat.

I totally agree, that’s why I started to use ppfd meter app on my phone to determine the hanging distance and how much to dim. I’m at 18 inches now and at 85% in week 7 of flower. It will take me a few runs to dial everything in. 48” seems a bit high to me, it’s more likely your nutrients are not dialed in making the plant sensitive to light. I ran 18-24 inches the whole grow with success and praying leaves.
