Dr Bud is wormcastings veganic?
Caveman; no animal by products of any kind. no guano, no shit. Veganic is like the Organic standard minus the animal by products. There is some science behind the concept on the web to look at. Kyle Kushman has been hocking this method for sometime. My focus is on quality. To me the smell\fragrance is much better and the smoke is smooth and flavor enhanced.
the world of cannibus growing offers many options not one of them is THE WAY. It is what works best for you and your situation that is what's important. Peace Brother

Sounds like a nice room Dr. Bud[/quote

Thank you. I have been planning for many years to design and build a flowering facillity from the gound up with all the features that seem reasonable and stay within the KISS method.
I even put vapor barrier under the cement pad. Metal building 16x16 with 12' ceiling. Had a cool electric guy who specializes in grow rooms come by and wired the whole thing up to a sub panel with gound faults all around. all the filtration is overhead. I built 2 4'x8' platform tables that are nearly waist high. They have are seperated with a 20" aisle way. this makes it easy for me to spray and care for the plants without too much bending over. But I have to get on a step ladder to smell the roses so to speak. The 360 light mover and the platforms allow for a 10'x10' canopy with blended light. So this was a dream come true for me.
I give most the credit for this to my wife she is totally supportive and did most all the paper work and financial work to accompilsh this. Her right side is dead no workie yet she worked most all her life, she is a very tough person I admire her alot. thanks my Love!
Peace Medusa!

So worm castings is not veganic because it is shit ? I'd like to discuss this more if you don't mind it on this thread if so we can start a convo

Yes lets talk although I am no expert. I use to do Organics with worm castings, guano's, and such with very good results. I was just convinced into trying veganic and was impressed enough to stay with it. At first I lost a bit in production but that was due to my own lack of knowledge. Slowly things are turning around in that respect.
As for why chemically they see a difference between say worm castings and Seeweed or kelp?
The idea is U build the biology in the soil simular to what a compost tea does, but the worm castings part of it is replaced typically with a ocean product. I use Bountea as my base for AVT, and add a few other items to it. it is very simple to brew, I have not lost a batch. Also use General Organic's Veganic items (not all the line is Veganic). Amino acids, Humic acid, yada

Update;
The six White Bears and six Imp. Kush's are now under the plazma lamp doing well. One seed of each did not sping up. But overall I would say these seeds were robust. I fed them their first AVT last night, to get that biology going. I will post pics this weekend of the girls (thinking positive). I hope everyone keeps the input coming on their grow logs so Uprising gets the pay back or good karma for the nice genetics that has been gifted us. Visions of White Bear and Imp Kush, the anticipation is fun.

Hey Folks Hope all is well with everyone.
First off two pics of White Bear's, then two pics of Imperial Kush. And under the Plazma they go.

Sounds good Doc i think you would be interest in EARTH MAGIC by Soil Secrets its the best source of humic and kelp ive found it is 98% humic and the compost for the line is called TTP and its from vegetable crops grown specifically for the compost so its not just scraps but all the veggies aswell its worth a look because every thing they have is veganic except there worm casting and as for their worm casting their worm farm is immaculately organic their farm is miles and miles away from the nearest commercial crops so their is least amount of insecticide and pesticide and all tthat other junk fallen from crop dusters and such i would love to hear back from you if decide to scope out the line Soil Secrets

by the way their humic is not from leonardite its from old fashioned composting!!!! Ive seen a room of highly educated farmers pick Mr Melendez's Brain (he owns soil secrets) and they all were taking notes and everythhing i even read his lecture at DU were he talks about growing great vegetable crops even in Coloradoes rocky clay dirt.....

Thanks for the TIP caveman I really appreciate I am still learning about Veganics. I really did not see a veganic option with local soils. So I took #4 mix and put it in a bin and mix with veganic tea let sit moist for about a month prior to using. I will give Earth Magic a try.
FYI: I just harvested some Kens Kush, I must say it exceeded my expectations.
thnx DrB

Pulling up a chair on this one. I happened to purchase a pack of White Bear from Uprising seeds before i moved back to Wa state from Socal and im looking into grabbing up some Imperial Kush too sometime soon. Would love to see how you do, I am going to be running mine in Coco Coir and with BioBizz Nutes.
