The real sour or whatever you want to call it. Always tough photographing these but that calx formation is so sour. Not as loud on the terps compared to a ibl I use to have but I’m not going to judge that until it’s in the jar a few weeks.
Apple fritters… smell is remarkable when she’s on point, no doubt. I’m surprised no one has tried to add more sour to this with maybe a karma genetics sound plant for a boost in high.
I can’t keep upYou mean NotSo LA Kushband?
Hmmm... I made some Fritter x SSSDH last season.
One of the best looking grows of the cut I’ve seenOk this is it for the day. Gmo x rootbeer I like this plant, not the prettiest but she ranks. A whole room of this and you would probably be
Thanks man! That’s going to be some serious resin dripping joint weed I think. Terps are piling on nowOne of the best looking grows of the cut I’ve seen
Looks solid af! How’s the terps?Trusfall here is some OPP. All chucked out
It comes from the same place as your wedding cake. This is something you might have more knowledge than I have about. While the buds were young week 3 thru 4 or 5 the citrus smell was insane. As the plants matured and I lowered temperatures I lost the citrus and it took on a more dank smell. It was chopped on Saturday. My helper and GF took it down so we could free up Sunday for fun shit. I had to go take care of stuff for family. So I lined them out took off and came home and I did not make it to the front door without smelling freshly cut plants. Probably the strongest nose on a plant I have had. I did one thing that some would say is a no no. I changed up the nutrients mid grow. I dumped the Athena Pro stuff for Jacks. So my question would be do you think changing from one dry salt to another had an influence on terps? I did use the balance of the add ons I usually run so I just do not see the base making much difference.Looks solid af! How’s the terps?
Not sure about that, well I grow with new mellinium base and mid flower I switch to pure blend pro and use advanced nutrients big bud and overdrive with both. Also use new mellinium ruby fulvic with both. When I used NM throughout the entire flower cycle I wasn’t getting the terps/flavor I needed. I like the new mellinium Winter Frost. I believe it really helps, I tried it with the Ruby Red but I did not see any real difference. We are kind of doing the same thing in some ways. I an not using the AN stuff but GP Massive. I believe they both have Tria in them. I have used the Overdrive with the same results as Massive. What I am going to change is when I give them massive and the dose. I was at about 2.5 mills per gallon week 4 thru 6 and I am going to raise it at budset and lower it sooner. The PGRs can be difficult to deal with late in flower. Less is more IMO.Not sure about that, well I grow with new mellinium base and mid flower I switch to pure blend pro and use advanced nutrients big bud and overdrive with both. As I was just rereading this post I ran across what you said about Ruby Red and Fulvic.I like the new mellinium Winter Frost. My current plan is to run the Jacks 321 per their feed chart and not use any of my add ons. I would like to get a true base line for the stuff in relation to what I know I can get with a tried out plant. They have made some changes to the line and I would like to see what the results are before getting into the addons. They are now suggesting a different fert for the first 2 weeks of flower and they offer a finisher. I spent so much time in December trying to figure out nutrients and it was really hard to get solid data because there is so much marketing and bro science out their.
I am all about saving where I can so the Jacks was pretty interesting from that respect, but the problem I have with the Athena stuff is the way their Grow and Bloom do 2 things. #1 the darn stuff is so Hydroscopic it is outrages. I had the stuff up off the floor in tubs in plastic bags and it still picks up water out of the air. I did some experiments and I think I picket up about 18 percent water weight with the stuff. #2. The stuff does not fully dissolve. There is always particles floating around in the rez. That was the first thing I noticed about Jacks. I mixed up all of the Jacks (Part A) in a 1 quart plastic container and it fully dissolved. No way with Athena. TBH I think it just comes down to quality of inputs for stuff.
I just wish there was clear information out there about the Nutrients but there is not. So I am just going to take the simple stupid approach and see what happens. It cracks me up to see what people do with some of this stuff. Jacks 321 is basically a single nutrient line start to finish. You mix the Jacks Fert with Magnesium Sulfate. That does in the rez. Than you mix in Calcium Nitrate and you can be done. I do use a Silica Product and a sterilizing agent so those go in ass well. But you hear people says oh I am not running the Calcium Nitrate or less of this or more of that. So I say to myself, JR Peters is a 70 year old company. They have been making ferts for 70 years and here you know more than a group that has been in business for 70 years.
So your running a sterile grow from start to finish? Ruby is the best fulvic I’ve ever used. Like a super Highway for salt base nutes. As I was just rereading this post I ran across what you said about Ruby Red and Fulvic.
I did not know that Ruby Red had Fulvic, that stuff just gets locked up with the acid I use to sterilize so no wonder I did not see a difference. I need to start running fulvic as a foliar. That is the only way I can get it into the plant with my set up.
Yes I am running hydro with UC Roots, but I recently ran across a product by Front R that has the same acid in powder form so I am going to switch to that. Do you think fulvic makes that much of a difference. The last large difference I have noticed came from Mono Silic. Would you rank Fulvic on the same level at Mono Silic? So your running a sterile grow from start to finish? Ruby is the best fulvic I’ve ever used. Like a super Highway for salt base nutes.
I won’t grow with out ruby, frost or decision. If I was just growing for the head sure can do without. Ruby sets the pace for big bud and overdrive IMO. I have friends who goes with bb and od as well without ruby and mine crush in the quality department.Yes I am running hydro with UC Roots, but I recently ran across a product by Front R that has the same acid in powder form so I am going to switch to that. You’re running the oreoz breeder cut too!! This thread is fucking awesome! Great marketing for anyone looking for some elites too. I might need that oreoz in my garden next. Not much to show yet buddy and the way my plants are in the net it’s hard to see much lol. They will be frosting up soon though.
