Virginia Growers Thread - Everything VA

Morning all, haven't been on much. Busy season in my line of work. Was curious as we went into drying mode over the weekend what humidity and temperature you guys look for when drying? This is our first grow, has went amazingly well for the most part and definitely don't want to screw things up at this point. A little blurb I read online was talking about 60/60 and 0.8 vpd. Haven't been able to get the temp that low but what we're currently at and have been in that ball park for a couple of days is 65.9/57 and 0.9 vpd. The humidity was lower but we got a storm last night and y'all know about Virginia and high humidity. AC and dehumidifier are in the same room with the tent. I'm actually pretty amazed the humidity is staying that low, I thought for sure we would need a separate dehumidifier. Got them all spaced out for air flow, AC set on 65, intake fan on constant, exhaust fan on low, multiple fans circulating but not directly on plants. I can run a hose directly to the AC and put it on one of the vents if need be but I'm not sure if that would get it much cooler, not really wanting to turn the AC down anymore and have it freeze up on me. Intake fan is coming in from the bottom of the tent closest side to the AC.

I followed the 60/60 technique hanging the whole plant in the dark for about two weeks. Worked out good.

Beautiful We just harvested our indoor grow, 11 quart jars 3/4 full and one a little less than 1/2 full.

Thank You Sir...it was my mix pack of seeds so pretty much going to have to smoke them to see what they really are...but the Sour D is easy to pick out but the others are not...soon we will know...lol

Hello from the 540! My 2nd outdoor grow. Last year the rain got me like many others. Went with a sativa strain this year, purple satellite by Green mountain. Supposedly breed for Maine outdoor growers to harvest in late September. Hopefully avoiding the bulwark of the fall rains. Question. Is my line of thinking correct in considering a sativa, which I understand to have a lower density bud, a little more resilient in heat and moisture? They are a little crowded, but seem fine so far. Pics are from about 10 days ago.

Dang they just keep stretching! This is my first out-d’oh grow and I’m learning a lot about how these plants grow. Can’t wait to see all them kolas hanging out up top!
