I want to personally wish each of you a happy new year! Remembering 2025 with love and loss... I hope and pray that each of you find happiness and prosperity in 26' !!!
Please be safe in all of your endeavors.
just keep in mind.. tomorrow is not promised...live everyday as if it was your last! Keep the lights on!!!
Peace out!

Here's Blueberry Pancakes SCROG 3+ weeks after flip. Getting a pretty good stretch but there's still 24" between light and canopy, yay! I clipped a lot of leaves down below in the shade and removed most of the little larf suckers below the net.

And some close ups of the immature virgin flower.
BP 1 3 7
BP 1 3 5

Anyone ever ran medic grow lights?
I may give them a shot...at least considering it. The 320w farmlite is dead...pity only got one grow out of it.
No luck with a waranty claim...not even a confirmation email...that's what I get!
I should know better...

Okay, long day of cleaning up the tent and surrounding area...currently sterilizing with uvc 2x52w.
I pulled the trigger on a fold 8 FS. From medicgrow. Couldn't help myself.
Will be building my living soil in the next few days. We will see how it goes!

Congrats F1 on the new light!
Time to prep the dirt and pull the seeds from the fridge!

Man I got so many options on the strains... I just pulled some seed from the maui/runtz cross and omg... so sweet so enticing pine and vanilla i can't wait till I get this line stabilized...still haven't got my silver.... taking a long time to process.

But what is good virginia good out door strains that flower 12 to 14 weeks hurd virginia has the most exspensive medical marijuana in the usa ?????

You are correct, medical marijuana in Virginia is widely considered to be expensive, with prices often higher than in neighboring states like Maryland and Washington, D.C.. This is a common concern among patients and is driven by several factors within the state's current market structure.

I don't know for sure... as I have never been in any of the dispensaries here.
I do have friends who frequent these establishments... they say it's like 70/8th....I paid like 16/G in Washington state a few years ago, but this was just an adult use buisiness...I had 0 (zero) complaints with Washington, Oregon however....I was not impressed...
Sorry... don't mean to ramble...
Hopefully, new governor has at least a plan for a legal market. I would like to get in on that, but it's probably just a pipe dream. But hey, what's wrong with dreams?

I’ve been looking for VA-specific info and noticed that they were scattered all over the site. Thought it might be easier to have one thread that gathers everything for Virginia.
The purpose of this thread is to unite Virginia growers so we can all share our experiences, tips, tricks, recipes, etc., and keep the Virginia marijuana community growing.

I’ll start it off.
Total newbie to growing (and even to gardening).
First grow. Growing two plants outdoors. Don't have an indoor setup.
Even though I've done something wrong at nearly every stage, my plants appear to be doing fairly well.
They're not ready to harvest yet, but guessing in the next 2-4 weeks?
But, the weather is quickly cooling off with lots of rain.
It's in the 50's today.
How much do I need to worry about possible negative effects caused by the weather?
I keep hearing about bud rot, etc.
What can I (should I) do to take these two plants across the finish line?

Hope there’s some interest in a VA thread.
Thanks!!

Thanks! Wish I could take credit for this, but got the idea from someone who did the same thing for Michigan.

You can / should set up the same thing for your state if interested (and/or just follow Virginia on this forum)

Why is Medical Marijuana so Expensive in Virginia?
The primary reasons for the high costs are:
Limited Competition: Virginia law restricts the number of licensed pharmaceutical processors and dispensaries. The state is divided into five regions, each with a single processor who can open up to six dispensaries, resulting in limited options and minimal incentive for these operators to lower prices.

I read an interview with Governor Spanberger last week and she said she will definitely sign legislation this year to set up legal recreational dispensaries in VA with a focus on giving licenses to small local operators. She said the delay caused by the previous Governor actually helped by giving them years to study how best to implement it. We will see but I feel confident there will be recreational sales in VA this year. I will probably visit a dispensary out of curiosity but as long as I can grow I'm happy. As someone who grew up in Culpepper in the 70s and 80s it blows my mind we are even having this conversation. Back then i never dreamed cannabis would be legal in my lifetime. These are great days we're living.

Even in the early 90s people got put away for many years for growing
