I always have placed them in a glass of water, then when the split and i can see the whit of the root, I place them root side down, gently, with my hands into the soil. Its not completly in the soil germination, but I think it helps. That initial inch of taproot that people allow to grow in the towel could have been anchoring the plant into the soil, and promoting a stronger root system. I even think it causes them to stretch less, also I could see it developing its fine root system earlier, even if its only by a few days.

Here's some outdoor thats coming along alright. Not using any nutes on these, just water. They were amended before flower. Took these on a friend's phone, my camera is still not working.

Valley girl O.G. (Valley o.g. x Faceoff o.g. BX1) from TLC collective -4wks in. Resin rub is straight lemon o.g. terp goodness. This is my first try at a decent O.G. cut. Dusted the other with some Pink 2.0 pollen

Ace of Spades clone around 4.5 wks. She's got a bubba-esque structure and a really unique berry smell.

Today I was also gifted my Romuloxxx #2 (leatherfruit pheno) and another clone of the valley girl and A.O.S. to mother out:) Super happy! I can't wait to run these again under better circumstances.

I took my two ctha x pink 2.0 seedlings out in the back yard to veg, I'll come back to 'em when they get interesting.

Here's why this thread has inferno in the title:) (actually getting decent temps though luckily). My lil' attic veg space. Sorry for the awful phone pics. Valley Girl OG (left), Ace of Spades (mid), Romuloxxx#2 (right). Gonna take cuts in a few days and I'll be trying out the Aloe vera powder/coconut water method instead of using cloning gel. My bokashi tea has been steeping about 36hrs so once these girls dry out more they'll get inoculated. Good vibes to all my fellow farmers!

Not too much of an update- These girls got their 1st Grokashi tea today. They'll get a foliar the next day and on the following night I'll take some cuts. Need to go get me some rapid rooters. Gotta give em some more light space pretty soon here as well.

Thanks @DC105 , let me know if you post up a log on that Franchise Gear, I would definitely love to watch that grow show. Which Franchise gear did you end up with? Don't know how I missed your tent grow log till today but damn, you've been puttin out dank!

I agree FlyinJ! hahah! I couldn't resist putting a couple up there to veg. I'm looking for a space so in the meantime this will work for my need:) Growing is the best therapy for me. Just love it.

Good morning farm friends!

I finally took my cuts yesterday, ended up just taking 4 lower branches off of ROMULOXXX#2. Soaked rockwool in coconut water/aloe vera juice with a little grapefruit juice from my tree in the backyard to buffer the ph. Took my cuts and soaked the tips in aloe/coconut water for about 20min, then placed in cubes. Then I followed the cloning up with an up-potting. I would've got some root shots during transplanting but my phone was dying -of course. Sorry bout the really crappy pics, my normal camera is still outta commission.

Brewed a little grokashi tea about a week ago to try it on my couple of plants and I stored what I didn't use up. I put two one gallon containers of it close to my mini fridge's cold source and accidentally froze one of em partially. Do you guys think that gallon will be alright still? Opinions?

Hey buddy, A big hello back to Crunchy, and Waymond. My dogs names are Jeremiah, and Kody Mae. They go to work every day with us. Better then kids in my opinion! Loving you have the eatable garden started. Fun stuff, the Heirloom Tomato's and African Peanuts. Getting ready to plant our annual Lettuce and Carrots. The Lettuce variety is known as Red Sails. The Carrots are a Baby Strain but still grow big here. Wish I could do some MJ outside.

This run with the valley girls was pretty much just a stress test. They were transplanted quickly after I received them, into a mix of black gold and some cheap coco I had laying around and I've just been letting em do their thing outside. All I've fed them is water since then. They've been through freezing temps, rain, and plenty of wind quite frequently and are seeming like excellent survivors. I gave a cut to my friend to hold on to in the hopes that it would be worth saving- looks like it is indeed. This girl's resin is thick, greasy, and smells like candy lemons, fuel, and OG. Really excited because this is the first good OG I've been able to get my hands on. But yeah, next run with these will be the real show:) @FlyinJStable. Thank you for stopping by and spreadin the dank wizard vibes! Always great to hear from you.

Hey, how's it going @Orcaman ? Those are great names, I could totally see those for your lil pups. Is Jeremiah the little husky looking one? They're really sweet looking dogs. I'm sure they're a lot of fun to have around:). Hope all goes well with your upcoming spring garden. Is spring startin' to peak its head out in your parts yet? Out here in SoCal it's been a constant trade off between and early spring warmth and gloomy cold winter. Such weird weather.

Your a funny man!:) Jeremiah is our 120 pound Bernese, Pyrenees mix. Kody Mae is our Shiba inu. She is a Japanese spitz breed. As far as the weather here on the front range of the Rockies. We just started a nice warm up. 50's and 60's for the next week after some much needed snow. I can plant the lettuce and carrots right outside and get two runs in a season. I also need to start my tomato seeds inside real soon. I just want to say big brother is messing with the weather systems with there HARP device and your state is paying the biggest price.
Take care my friend!
