The California scene is a product of its own brainwashed marketing schemes. Last time I was out in Cali, I overheard a guys say that "I won't smoke it if it ain't OG". You guys are so caught up in your own played-out elite strains! That will be the limiting factor for Cali and the downfall of your genetics scene.

I think Colorado is in a good place (geographically and legally) to really play an important role in genetics. We are at the cross roads of America, we get east coast and west coast genetics floating through here. And we aren't limited by our own false sense of what we think is good and what isn't, based on what its called! I think Hazes will be making a comeback through the Colorado scene very soon.

I don't judge herb by its growers or its origins. Like self said, let the herb speak for itself. California, much like Amsterdam, is desperately clinging on to a genetics scene thats slowly falling apart, mostly due to greed, ego, and ignorance. Why do you think I get PMs from Cali people asking me for Bruce Banner or Golden Goat? Must be because the Cali med scene is years ahead of Colorado, right?

There are some great growers that I know personally in Cali, some good friends and family of mine. But they are the first to admit that Colorado is the new mecca!

Don't forget, even the Roman Empire fell....you can't stay on top forever...

Very very impressive Green Mopho. I shudder to think of the wattage your using. I guess its the price of doing business though. Anyway, keep up the good work. +1 Rep from me.

all i can say is u musta been in socal ;)

they are both great places; cali can be a lot of different things to a lot of different people... socal, thebay, norcal, etc... all offer totally different living experiences... from what i've gathered colorado has less variety and, last time i checked, no ocean ;)

for herb it's all about individual effort; growers are killing it in both states

I like Colorado it looks similar as far as mountains, rivers and lakes go to British Columbia which is where I live. Can't go wrong.

By passing actual legeslation and state constitutional ammendments to protect the patient base as well as create a system within the state government for taxation and regulation, Colorado is light years ahead of California and any other med state for that matter.

Colorado has become the prototypical medical model for all other states to envy and ultimately copy...it woun't be long before California copies or adopts many of the Colorado initiatives at a state level, just watch...I don't think other med states will stay unregulated to much longer after they see how the state of Colorado is capturing all those tax dollars..I mean Cali is trying to pay state workers minimum wage because of budget shortfalls and the MMJ program here took in 8million dollars in 2 days in liscesing fees alone....mo money, mo money..

It is what it is, its not an ego thing at all, with new pateint applications in the 150,000+ range just since the first of the year and growing at an escalating rate, 1500+ a day at one point. Now with 800+ despensaries and 300+ edibles manufactures on the books and payin the toll. Keep in mind that number is limited until July 2011 by the stae and then the flood gates will really open up at a state level and all the rules are in place.

Alot of guys from Cali here and Spain and Amsterdam, you name it...Colorado is the center of the MMJ universe at the moment...that will probably change soon enough though when some other state comes on strong..

Michigan will be the next bully on the block and alot of people that didn't qualify for the liscesing process here in Colorado hauled ass to Michigan so get ready..

That guy was an idiot and the Feds had it out for him. He was way over his plant count and went on TV to brag about how much money he was making.

The same shit happens in California, too!



NO ONE in the country, mmj-states included, is exempt from the Feds. Cali needs to get prepared for that, because if Prop 19 passes, the Feds will be all over that state like maggots on a rotting carcass. Not to mention Richard Lee will be fucking the smaller growers from the other end...

Nah, I was in the Bay. I lived and grew in Oakland for a while, until I got jacked and went for higher ground...



Sure, there is no ocean in Colorado. California is very beautiful, but full of pollution, overpopulated, horrible traffic, crime, insane high taxes and cost of living.

I'm fine paying $2.60 a gallon in Colorado and not driving over the Bay Bridge while having chucks of crap fall on me because the Terminator is pissing away all of state's money while the voters sit back and do nothing...

There was a reason Hunter S. Thompson left San Francisco and settled in Woody Creek...he had a functioning brain.

Either way, no matter where you are, keeping growing...lets not turn this into a pissing match. There is a strong tradition of growing in the Rocky Mountains, and Boulder was one of Jerry Garcia's favorite towns...so the pot history is here, just not as diverse and saturated.

Contrary to what most Cali people think, we aren't growing among the Aspen Trees, living like "Into of the Wild" in log cabins and rusted out school buses. There are actual cities and towns here, with actual hydro shops, that carry the very same shit sold in hydro shops in Cali...its all made in China anyway!

hehe not yet. I know that plant gets huge i figure in your setup its going to be a monster.
I wish i had more space and an eatibles license... I hit plant count fast and im a wuss and wont go over...

Are you guys and gals really gonna fuck this thread up and argue over where to find the best herb and growers?

C'mon people..........no offense, but anyone needing the ego boost to claim "my state grows the best weed" probably doesn't grow that good of a product himself.

When I talk about my weed, I talk about what I grow.............but that's just me.

hey guys great med op. i, liking the coverage and those pimp boxes. as far as the cali/CO controversy. i like being a mile hi too. CO has similar terrain to Cali we just have an ocean and a bunch of whores that walk around half naked all the time. (rain or shine) lol

as far as the weed goes i agree with Bobby smith. rep your own shit and don't worry about what the weak fucks in your state are trying to do.
it takes time and tlc to make great bud. people that have time tend to make great weed.

that doesn't mean that its only in CO thow. i have plenty of time as well as many of you other med patients who take pride in there product.

every state has there retards cali is just more populated. same % of dumb asses. we just have more people. just my 2 cents.
now back to growing!
