I'm a little confused here. So your concern is that you feed with a ph of 5.8 but the runoff reads 5.3? That is perfectly normal for runoff to be lower than the nutrient solution (because the nutrients that are still present in the medium attribute to making the nutrient solution more acidic when you feed, so the ph drops in the runoff water). But checking runoff water is something that is usually only done in soil grows. It's a method of checking the soil's ph to make sure that it's still in range. If the runoff is more than a point low then you know the soil ph is low. If it becomes higher than the ph of what you feed it then it's too high. I don't test my runoff so I'm in no way an expert on the subject, but you get the point. Just keep feeding with that 5.8 nutrient solution and the coco will adjust it's ph on it's own. Don't worry about the runoff.

Not with the CNS17 it's been AWESOME I've not had to do any waterings just feed feed feed my ppm comes out perfect and my ph I'm not worried about much anymore on the runoff comes out 5.3-5.4 everytime :) but with the Lucas/head I could never feed twice or my runoff ph would be 5.1-4.9 and ppm were like 900 in and 1700 out :( really messed up my last grow locking out nutes and getting the worst eagle claws I've ever seen I mean my fan leafs almost looked like a fist :( but I'm on track with this CNS17 mix and really liking it.
I was thinking of doing the Moab first week at (per 10 gallons)10ml protekt 2tbs of Moab 10g Epsom 170ml CNS17 bloom and 4ml drip clean, if anyone has ever used Moab to induce flowering let me know if I need to cut nutes in half or 2/3? Don't want to burn my girl
I made a small gallon last night just to test it out and I'm not sure the ppm cause I ran out of calibrating solution but my ph was 5.5 so I'll have to tweak this a bit or if anyone has a better idea for inducing flower I'm all ears, I've also got AN igniter

Let me know how the CNS17 goes for bloom. I run Flora Nova for bloom and they were lacking something in flower when I was running that line for bloom.

BTW thx dankworth on the heads up bout the buckets.
