I have my AZ mmj approval and I am growing some
Aurora Indica plants on a very small scale at this time
(well below what I am legally allowed to grow).
As more people get their mmj cards,
some will be looking for clones to start their own legal grow.
What are the AZ mmj laws concerning this?
Since I am one of the first ones currently growing legally,
I'd be happy to provide clones to other mmj card holders
&/or dispensaries. However, It obviously costs me money
to buy seeds, grow equipment, labor etc. Am I allowed
to charge an amount of money to recover my costs?
if so, what would be legal and reasonable to charge
for each clone?
Thanx!

dispensaries will generally pay you half what they charge for clones

How much does that rockwool cube cost you? A couple cents. If youre cloning you already have the equipment. And it takes 5-10 min to take a clone.

But hey, lets charge $25-$50 for it

Where do you people get these prices from? Clones are selling for 15 in all the other states so why are they going to be 5-10 bucks cheaper in AZ? Granted that rock wool is cheap and so is the elec., so is my rent and all junk I buy at the Hydro store. Not to mention the 10 to 14 days I have to tend to it. So please tell me why it is going to be so much cheaper in AZ.?
I guess next you are going to tell me that a elbow of high grade is going to sale for 1600-2000!?

Sorry mediman- I meant easy rasta. :)

The long and short of it is that selling clones will be allowed but problematic because it could easily get a person in trouble for exceeding plant # limits. But selling unrooted cuttings will be legal. Not as lucrative, but legal and will make you a few bucks.

Ok. well I think it would still be fun to trade clones with others
to increase each other's variety of strains.

Don't let yourself feel limited by the ability to freely trade unrooted cuttings. I've never traded a rooted clone in my life... everything in my collection came to me as a cutting. I don't mind rooting them up myself.

And I bet there are plenty of patients, caregivers, and dispensaries who feel the same and are willing to compensate someone for cuts. In fact, Craigslist ad responses prove it. :)

Good luck and see ya around!

Cool! Looking at about 12 or so. Thats a good pain, stress & most likely insomnia strain among other possible med uses :)

I have seeds, cuttings and some extra plants. I can't wait to get my card so I can also share buds.

What do you have available?

what strains do you currently have available?
I'd like to trade some cuttings from my Aurora Indica
for some cuttings of other strains just for some variety.
