What nutes do you Guys swear by

Hey Guys,

I'm on General Hydropponics Flora series - lucas formula' 0/8/16

I was just wondering what is deemed to be the best grow nutes for you guys over here in the USA - or/and other countries outside Europe.

Also if any if any of you are using a developed Lucas-type formula' for these different nutrients, could you explain it??

I am a first time grower but it seems to me that the Canna Aqua A&B with Pk13/14 and Boost accelerator. I think I will be staying with this line because it seems to be working very well for me so far but like I said I'm new and don't no shit.

For a pre-made hydro formula I swear by Jacks Hydroponic with added Calcium Nitrate. I used to be a GH Lucas guy, but I have learned a lot since those days.........Ive come into the light......


No additives ever with Jacks......

AN is coming out with ah new connoisseur 3 part, that is going to have alot more stuff already in it.(2 or 3 of there additives will be mixed in), should be pretty soon(month or 2,3,lol)

Wow, I've not heard of most of those, apart from lucas formula', that's what I do now. GH flora series 0/8/16 under a 400w HPS.

I think lucas formula' is pretty sweet so i'd be really interested to find out about what Snowblinds up too especially as he's moved on from Lucas to a better way!

Can you tell me more Snowblind please? have you got any links or such?
Also why do you think its better than Lucas'? is it yield or taste?? can't be for ease of use, Lucas' is brain dead simple.

But your not supposed to flush lucas formula'??

I thought that was the idea, minimum N minimum K - no need to flush, or do you just flush for a few days to be sure??.

Man to tell ya the truth H&G, Botanicare, and Foxfarm all did very well. The Genhydro stuff just seems to shine (except for PBP Veg).

I have had some great success with the Roots Organic line of nutrients. But even when using that line I will not grow without my Botanicare Sweet and Canna Rhizotonic. I also use Botanicare CalMag. I tried to switch over to molasses from the Sweet and felt my results diminished.

I did use a few nutes from the new organic line from GH, General Organics and my plants seemed to react well to them. I would love to give the whole line a proper run, but at the moment I have nothing going and am not in a position to be growing right now. When I do resume growing I am going to try the full line, most likely in a soil set-up.

Hey bro, I'm thinking about trying the Botanicare Sweet this grow...did it really make a diff with the taste and smell of the bud?!?! This is my 2nd indoor (check it out), always grew guerilla and didn't mess with nutes but was thinking about trying it out after a buddy suggested it.

That Floranova Bloom is some thick shit isn't it? Like the stuff so far, went really light on my first grow with it (unknown genetics) but am going to pour it on with this one. I'll be running a Dutch Passion line this time and from what I've seen of these plants in germ I think they are going to handle anything I throw at 'em

Watch the Hermies with DP. I'm doing Power Plant now and 3 of 4 Femmed seeds hermied at 3.5 weeks flower.

DP are very susceptible to this I hear. I've been reassured that Paradise Seeds Femms do not Hermaphrodite though

I would absolutely go with the Sweet, in my grows it has seemed to make a difference. Its one of those products that really cannot hurt your results, unless you add WAY too much; which in and of itself is hard to do. I always felt it really helped my final cured flavor. There are also several different varieties of Sweet so you can even pick the right formula for your desired flavor and aroma. If I were forced to only use one additive or nutrient Sweet is the one I would keep.
