Just tap water.. no cal mag. Or RO with 5ml cal mag. With way is good.Brother, I got up this morning and tested your method right away
I have two questions
(1)
I use tap water to add nutrient solution, without calmag,
The ppm of tap water is about 170, and then I add the nutrient solution. At the last step, I adjust the pH value and find that the ppm is 500,
But according to the ppm of hydroponics in the later stage of plants, it can not exceed 700,
I'd like to ask if I need to add some more calmag. If I use tap water, I'm really afraid of magnesium deficiency and calcium deficiency, and ppm still has 200 room to rise
(2)
In the fourth week of flowering, it is necessary to reduce the use calmag gradually.
What should I do then. Because the tap water contains magnesium and calcium, at that time, I can only use pure water without calmag. If so, then pH will rise again
500 ppm total with tap or RO should be close in the end maybe 50ppm different. This is the base to the water. You adjust the rest of the ppm by raising or lowering nutrients not the cal mag.
Late in flower if in RO you can cut the cal mag in half or just use tap and no cal mag.
Have pics of the plants now?
