Who do you guys think has the best version of amnesia haze? I was thinking about growing fastbuds?

Best is subjective, of course, but Soma's version won a Cannabis Cup a while back. I'd probably stay away from short flowering and auto versions, because who knows what you lose with the cross.

Ohhh ok got it, thanks for the info gromie💪🏿..so are autos really as potent as some companies claim?

That's kind of a complicated question to answer. On one hand, the autoflowering genes come from ruderalis, which is low in THC, but high in CBD. I assume there's a variety of other cannabinoids and terpenes as well. So the challenge when making an autoflowering version of a photoperiod strain is getting the autoflowering gene(s) into the cross while minimizing how much the photoperiod target cultivar changes/loses in the process. The autoflower breeders might well be out-crossing or back-crossing to other cultivars to try to dial in certain attributes (like THC potency). Until we can do targeted gene editing, the only thing I think we can say with confidence is that the autoflowering version of Strain A isn't Strain A.

Main thing I’ve found is autos are unforgiving if you make any mistake you really losing yield but they are fun to watch flower under 18/6 just weird to me
