Nice plants.. Those nuggs r huge great work the plants that r at the edge of the tray that r in the middle of both lights do they have bigger buds then the plants that can only see 1 light?

Venom the pics make them appear a tiny bit closer to the light than they actually are. I pulled everything that was too close just far enough away so that nothing is getting burned. These light fixtures stay very cool, especially with an 8" inline fan dedicated to only 2 lights.

I'll try and get something in there for scale next time. As most of you who have taken bud shots know... they look much bigger and better in person.

Thanks Goo, ya the plants in the middle get light from both sides so they do benefit by it indeed. They are very lush and thick over there. It kind of works out that the soil plants in the adjacent tray are not very big and bushy. The WIFIs next door steal a bunch of real estate over there.

Yes, Quantum dimmable on 100%, CAP XXXtreme hoods. These hoods with an 8" fan and only 2 lights rock! The only real hot spot is directly under the light. Those that appear very close to the fixture are on the very outside edge of the hoods. It is very cool over there.

Thanks bro! And to think I was going to scrap indoor for the summer and concentrate on outdoor lol. Haven't surfed all summer though which is the only bummer. That has to do with my pre-maturely aging (injuries) body not growing though.

Wow bro, those girls are blowin up..frosty as hell.. I bet it smells real nice in there. I bet the distance from the light has somethin to do with the fat colas. Sometimes having the lights close is a good thing. I like to drop my light down to 12-14 inches in flower. I have an air cooled hood with 6" vortex Plln and stays quite cool, makes for some dense colas too that's 4sho. ~ODB~

What happinen Rush. Ya smells are off the charts bro. I think the room smells like rotten something, hard to say exactly. Lots of smells from 4 different dank strains confuses my nose. When I touch the WIFI (both #1 and #2, can't reach #3) they smell like sweet dank. The Fire Alien #4 smells more Chemmy. Can't reach the other 2Fire Aliens. Yes I am running 3 banana kush and 2 SFV in the adjacent 3x3 tray under 1000w. They are in organic soil. I'll get you some pics of them tomorrow. Below are some pics of my outdoor Banana and SFV.

I agree ODB. There is a sweet spot a few inches lower than where they would get burned. That is where they receive the most lumens possible IMO. This is my third run with these Hortilux's too. Gonna swap em out after this run.

Thanks Rushoe. The SFV is in a 20 gallon and the Banana is in a 10 gallon pot. It reeks pretty bad back there bro. My girl said today it was too much for her. She is sensitive to certain smells. She doesn't smoke, but usually loves the smell of OG and gags at the smell of Trainwreck. The little WIFI back there is starting to reek the place up of heavy dank. Couple that with the sour d that is in full bloom and you got some serious stank.

So last night I found something that realy surprised me. I noticed clumps of what looked like pistils with hairs popping out on a part of the plant where the stalk meets a branch. I thought that was a strange place for such a large number of pistils, it looked like a quarter size nug. After looking closer I saw that it was shooting nanners! lots of em. Then I found like 5 other similar nanner bombs in the same types of areas. These things were full of pollen. I did my best to remove them all without spreading any pollen. Kinda worried. Pics below.

Rushoe, got your pics of the SFV and Banana. The first pic is SFV. Love the calyx to leaf ratio with this stuff, a pleasure to trim. Pic 2 is a Banana top nug. Pic 3 shows the other SFV (small plant) in the front middle and the banana in the rear.

I took a few of the WIFI and Fire Alien also.

Hey there ODB, its the Fire Alien 4 I found the nanners on. I went in there a bit ago and checked her out some more. I found a bud with 1 positively identified seed developing. Other than that the nugs perfect looking.

I think I'm going to get a nice pull of WIFI. Gonna be 3 different flavors too. Each of the 3 phenos has its own look and I assume different smell and taste. Can't wait to try this stuff! As far as OG smell I'd say no right now. But then again most OG's I've grown don't really smell like OG until late in flower or beyond. I get kind of a sweet piney smell is all I can say. Odor is increasing obviously because my garage which is 40 feet away from my room reaked today. My Phresh filtered air vents to my attic which has a small access from my garage. Apparently the Phresh filter (only 4 months old) isn't as good as I thought or this dank in uncontrollable odor wise lol.

The trichs are starting to pop, you can see them top to bottom with the naked eye. The back side of the bud leaves are coated in thrichs as well.

I ended up finding another more nanners on a different plant. I found them on my WIFI #1 which is right next to the plant I found them on yesterday. They were found in the same type of area on the plant that where I saw them on the Fire Alien.

I did the best I could to check the other plants but saw nothing else. Hopefully I caught this soon enough, but I fear a lot of my lower buds are going to have seeds.

Reverse by Dutch Master claims to help with suppression of male expression.
I used it on this summer grow.
Can't say it "worked" because I was forced to harvest early due to cold nights and mold.
It was something to do.
Phospholipids in foliar application requires the Dutch Master Penetrator so this is not an inexpensive treatment but there is reason to think they may be on to something here.
Never been given a reason not to trust Australians.
