Exactly man lol
Beautiful bushy plants - in the first pic you could cut a hole in the middle and it would be a gorgeous wreath.

Hey there, very informative logs you got going. I enjoyed reading through the thread the last couple days. And your recipe is spot on and easy to understand, photography is killer as well. I'm very impressed.

Funny thing I noticed is with the GG4, I know I got the real cut because my finished product looks identical to the nugs you posted. Make me more confident to make some seeds with it.

Anyways keep up the good work and keep doing what you do. Learned a lot from this thread, and I will be sure to keep checking in on it.

Peace out.

Yo, thanks for stopping by bro and it makes me happy to hear your kind words. Im trying to keep feeding nutrients simple while keeping yield and quality in mind.

I feel the same way about my GG4. I did a lot of research on the cut before buying it. Its supposed to be verified. Plus I've seen @Srenots GG4 and they look the same towards the end of their cycle. My next run will mostly be GG4. I got 3 in 1 gallon and 1 in a 3 gallon. The one in the 3 gal is already FROSTY! Pretty excited.

Good luck with crossing your GG4!

No prob, I've been going at the organics for about 5 years now. Moving from beds, to 5 gallon pots for my next venture, and you gave me a lot of insight. Less trial and error to be had on my part, so thanks to you for that.

The cross is more of a preservation and rejuvenation thing, then a business model.
I am certain we are finally getting some legitimate cuttings up here in Vancouver, BC. But with so many careless growers and all the pesticides used in the area, the plants immunities are very low. I want to grow these strains but unless I go from seed, I'm fighting thrips, mites, and powder mildew, all super strains to add.

I find any of the seeds I make, or buy, grow with none of these problems. Stress free growing.

Key word, rejuvenate.

That's awesome. I'm glad you got your hands on some legit GG4. But I know theres some fire in bc we cant get down here.

I'm definitely going to keep the GG4 around for a long time. I was thinking of possibly crossing her but it would just be like a personal cross for my to mess with.

Come to think about it. The first time I harvested GG#4 it smelt like glue all crop, and dried out to one of the dankest OG smells I've come across.

Second time It came out identical in looks but a bit lighter in color and never lost its GLUE smell.

I got of liked the OG finish from the first run. Maybe It's cause I cropped at 7 weeks instead of 9 on the latest run.

Man I just looked back at page 12 and G** Da** those are some beatiful pics.

Made a quick clip. First up is my older White Tahoe Cookies doing amazing. Next up is GSC forum cut recovering from a cal mag deficiency.
And last is my younger WTC at 22 days in 12/12. Top dressing helped out a bit but I think she is asking for more nitrogen. That's what I get for being lazy. I didn't mix in any guano before transplanting. I got I batch of AACT brewing for tomorrow.

Was she still potent at 7 weeks? I got one I'm dying to harvest. I'll probably roll her up in a fat blunt.

Lol, forgot about this little "what if" you had going.

She was still very potent. Not put you out potent, but very cerebral and relaxing, glue taste that stunk right through the joint, and could taste on the inhale. Burn was slightly harsher as it was harvest on a deadline basis, unexpectedly after feeding her a bit a few days earlier. Yeild was not great.

That makes sense Lol I'm going to try to push her out to 8 weeks at least. Shes looking like shes ready though. Is your GG4 stretchy during veg?

🦍GG4🦍

I've been getting her used to the 1000w hps while the flower cycle is on. There was extra space to squeeze in another one that is a monstercropped clone. She had 2 main shoots so I stuck with those and cut off the rest of the wierd growth. I think she could catch up with the older one for a decent yield. If not I'll hold her back no biggie.

Not really, they need some time to settle into my room before they take off. I run a sealed room with dirt beds. Lots of co2 in the early stages, like 3000ppm. The plants need to adapt, and as they slowly get bigger, the co2 in the room comes down, and they start to grow quick.

My plants all start stunted, grow new leaves, drop co2 down to about 1700ppms before they start taking off, then after a few weeks they just devour the co2 and it drops down to the 1000ppm mark, and thats when I start supplimenting co2 with a 50lb tank.

If I don't suppliment at this point. Within an hour or two of the lights being on, my ppms drop to 600ppms, and thats when then plants kick back into a slower growth, more susceptible to heat and mites.

Lol, anyways...
Long story short. If I bring my co2 down around the time I plant, they stretch, which is hard for me to do when my soil creates so much co2 in the sealed room.
Every night it goes up to 3000-4000ppm, every day they drop down to 600ppm, so I go in about an hour after lights on and open my co2 tank at the lowest pressure, which is about the same rate as the plants eat it up.

I said co2 about 50 times there, but hell I'll go for one more.

Do you manage co2 in your room?

Damn Im pretty sure I know what's going on in my grow then... I'm slacking on the lighting for my veg tent and my fast growers must be stretching.

To be honest I have never used co2. I do look into it like once every few months. Right now I'm still in the middle of expanding my grow. If I would have waited to start growing till I had the proper setup I could have had that in the works along with a few dehps and cmh. But it's all good my very first grow started in a Jordan shoe box and finished in a medium sized lowes moving box.

I'm getting everything with options though. Like my hood is sealed and has a separate 6 inch fan to cool it. I got a 4 inch inline fan for the tent for 15 bucks. I dont have to ditch my gear or upgrade too much. I dont know when I'll run co2 but I'm trying to keep my options open to it. The next upgrade will be a solis tek de hps ballast with a sealed hood.

You probably got enough co2 in your spot tbh. Just tending to the garden, being in the house and having a hot water heater going is enough to spike it past outdoor levels. You'll want to suppliment if you have a larger garden though. And if you change anything, make sure the changes are gradual and nothing to drastic.

If you can find a cheap co2 meter for like 50 bucks it could be worth using to see where your levels are at. Otherwise you are getting beatiful quality buds, which kind of tells you alone that you have a little extra co2 than the norm.

No changes needed my friend.

I supplimented because my cooling wasn't enough to bring me under 80 degress in the beginning. After upgrading my reflectors to some adjustable wing types, I've been able to diffuse the heat bearing down on my crop and I can get it down to 74 degrees during the summer.

Smart move bro! Thats a good way to get around the heat. I'll have to look into that co2 meter I'll probably pick one up once I get a light meter with a laser for leaf temp. I cant wait to get things dialed in. By the end of the year I hope to have 2 more lights.

Have you thought about a more sativa friendly light schedule 11 on 13 off? Might help sativas tend to hermie if not happy.
I grow a lot of hybrids and if one thing is for sure is if the pheno is showing a lot of sativa and particularly the closer to the equator sativa influences come from the more finicky they can be?
