Flower update
!Girl Scout Cookies Forum Cut!
She is at 1 week in flower. I gave her an AACT foliar spray twice already. Im behind one feed. In 1 more week I will transplant her to a 7 gal fabric pot and give her a final pruning. She's really dark looking. I hope she turns deep purple. I haven't had to do much after I get back from work I will supercrop her and her sister WTC.

First harvest since the spring of 2013.

I got my buds in jars now, it's been a long time since I cured. I started trimming after 4 days and clipped the buds into brown paper bags. Last night (5 days later) I jarred them up. I had another half a jar but I started smoking as I trimmed. I smoke it down faster than it grows. The fruity smell went away again but now it smells like straight kush with gas.

Anybody have any tricks they like or tips? Anyone use boveda humidity packs?

I have the jars in my Groom. The temp is at 67

I use the boveda packs, but I generally wait till they are most of the way cured.

I bought some bud about a 3 months ago and the jar it came in had one of those packs. I've used one in like 2010 but I dont remember how I liked it. The people I smoked with said my bud was amazing but it's always hard to judge your own pot. I do remember throwing it in the same day I jarred them up. I've also read that some growers put them in for the first few days and them take them out to finish the cure.

I've been roofing for far too long my third year I hardly had 1 day off a week sometimes. The summer was brutal that year too :puke2:

My current crew can knock out small residential homes (400k or less) in 1-3 days with bigger residential home in about 4-6days (above 400k). It seems to be the norm for 3 man crews.

I roof in the PDX metro area but I do go out to the coast, man those houses are a headache. You really dont know what to expect until you are tearing them shingles off. And its sucks on both sides. As the homeowner your bid goes up. As a roofer your back breaks harder. The houses on the coast get battered by the wind and have a lot more rot to deal with.

I always laugh when my boss tell me he roofed for 20+ years with a hammer and a pouch lol. I hate it now I cant even imagine what it was like without power tools!

Yeah, the power tools are definitely a game changer. We even removed the old shingles with a claw hammer most of the time. On bigger roofs we might use a coal shovel lol

I haven't done a roof in about 30 yrs. It's not gonna be fun. I'm pretty much banking on the roof outlasting me.

I watched these guys on BoobTube... they guarantee a shingle roof, (materials & labor), for 50 yrs :-O
I'm gonna do it their way ;)

Skip ahead to about 4 minutes.

I had to do some research, we not only didn't have the power tools, we also didn't have ice and water shielding or theses new synthetic underlayments either :D

They look like the got it down on lock. The triple layer ice and water is a little overkill. Nothing wrong with that though.

Did you guys have any of these back then?

It's a life saver. It's just a gutter scoop but after cleaning 2 sheets of gutters a week this is a mist have. 4 bucks or so at home depot.

If you have any questions about your roof once it comes down to it, I could help answer any question you have.:)

Its hard work but its definitely a good way to make an honest living. I gotta get out of it soon though.

This double layer had the valley sagging. I had to raise the rafter!

I got an extra GG4 in flower! She was gonna go to the trash but I have extra space in my flower tent. I threw her in. She is a bonsai and is rootbound and starving. Let's see what she can do!!

!White Tahoe Cookies 12/12 update!!

She'll be at 1 week in flower tomorrow. I sprayed her with full strength AACT when lights came on today. Next time I water her and GSCFC I will give them a 50/50 AACT root drench. I tried out less colas to see if I could get even fatter nugs after they have dried and cured.

If you prune the roots prune the top as well. Then up pot her just a little and get your self a nice lolipop ;)

Oh yeah... give her a good feed the day before to get her pumped up as Hanz und Franz used to say.

Oh yeah... again... negatory on the scooper. We used our hands lol

Is the nail every 12" really necessary on the paper? Seems like over kill?

It depends...
If your roof is steep your going to want more so you can walk on it. Like every 6 inches or so.
If you plan on leaving the felt on over night yeah It is necessary.
But if the roof is walkable and you know you can roof the section being dried in there's really no point in going overboard. If I know I'm roofing without to much foot traffic in my area I just tack a couple down to hold it in place.

!GG4 12/12!
Pics from tonight.
Today was her last AACT soil drench. She is going to get nothing but water from now unless she slows down too much.

More pics of the bonsai GG4 after a foliar feed... I'm going to keep her feed and add some EWC after I scrape some old soil out. I would pot up but my mission is to grow a bonsai. So i am trying hard not to add to much to the soil but I know she needs nutrition. I should've root pruned her before I threw her in. Hopefully the foliar feeding works out for her.

I'll root prune another clone and give it a mix of 30/70 roots ewc/motherearth groundswell.

Did some work in the veg tent today. I found my keepers and separated the extras.
GG4!
For GG4 I have 3 in veg.

The tiny one on the left is a monstercropped clone. She is taking off compared to the other 3. I will transplant her into a 1 gal pot next time her soil is dry.
Next to her is my mainlined GG4 I chose to keep. Shes short and has even growth I'll transplant to a 1 gal tomorrow.
The last one is my masterpiece for this strain. Shes a stretcher but I managed to get her down low and even. It's been a long long veg for her but she is a beauty. I kept topping her until she gave me a proper Bush for my tiny tent. I need to visit the hydro store for some pots. I will probably transplant her to a 3 tomorrow or Sunday. I tied her down today. Her structure is done now it's time for feeding and supercropping.

Girl Scout Cookies Forum Cut!

I had 2 to choose from and one was already in a 1 gal pot, something shitty happend and now I'm left with 1. I dont whenI bumped her wrong but by the time I got to checking her soil I noticed her branch was hanging. It was past its saving point. idk what to do with her now. I'll be more careful next time I just lost about 1 week worth of growth. It's good I kept another.

The next one is an extra I had. Shes a little shorter but has even growth. Her structure is better but this strain is already a shorty. I'll mainline her in the next few days. She needs a 1gal pot asap.

White Tahoe Cookies!!!

I have 4 WTC in veg. 2 extra

My biggest one outgrew the veg tent. I put her in flower for now but she is only in the temporary I need to move some lemon cucumbers out of my veg rack and put her under the my t5. Also shes an extra Idk what to do with her yet. I'll treat her as the rest and continue to train her. She'll get a 3 gal pot tomorrow.... almost dry.

The next one is my bonsai mom and 2 other clones that survived the same conditions. I pulled out a 4th clone and tossed it. It threw roots but the bottom half was crispy and shriveled looking. They are going in a 2 inch pot later today or tomorrow.

Bonsai moms!!!!!
As of now I have my 2 bonsai moms loving their home. GG4 started to show some signs of nitrogen deficiency. The GSC Forum Cut is doing fine but they want a new pot. If I dont find the right size pots today I will transplant both to a 4 inch cube and start root pruning. I watered both of them with a liquid kelp and calmag mix.
Shot from outside the tent.

BUDPORN!!!!!

The White Tahoe Cookies is all dried up and has been in glass jars for a few days. They are starting to taste like kush. It's really thick on the kush taste. The buds are amazing and they are really sticky. I love growing organic and will continue to do so. It's all about quality with me and not quantity. I'm happy to have top shelf quality at home. I tried a joint last night. It burned perfect all the way to the end. I brought my scale out and got 5 oz and 15.6 grams left. I have been smoking since I started trimming. I'm guessing I would have had 6+ounces. I smoke 2-4 grams a day. I didnt use any chemical nutrients and flushed for 1 week. Not too bad she was at 600w hps until GG4 went in the tent then I bumped her up to 1000w hps. The GG4 has been at 1000w since flipping to 12/12. I was hoping to have enough funds to test out the batch but I'm really over budget for my grow. I have to wait a bit before I can justify spending any more on the grow op.

I tried to take a good angle shot of a couple nugs but my puppies were to interested.

I had to move to the table but this guy started begging too. I gotta watch him close he likes dried up plant matter. From dried palm leaves to dried marijuana leaves and buds.
These are the shots I took . It's a galaxy s9+ camera but it did a great job. The buds are beautiful and the are HEAVY hitting. I used to smoke nothing but rosin for a long time. Since my buds dried I haven't had to take a dab. I still have a lot of scissor has and half a gram of shatter from NW Kind. <--dank

1st pic has no flash, that's why it looks yellow

White Tahoe Cookies update!
I transplanted the 3 clones that made it through. I broke up the soil ball and pulled out the clones to prune their roots. I put them in motherearth groundswell and will continue to build up their rootball.

1st is my bonsai mom. She will stay in this pot for at least 2 weeks, maybe more. This one had an insane amount of roots.
I trimmed her tap root and took off a little on the side to fit the 2x2 pot.

This next one is an extra. She had less roots so I just trimmed her taproot.

For the last one I made a clip. Its faster with 2 hands but you get the idea. Trim the taproot and rootball to fit the 2x2. But be sure to trim the taproot. There's no need to be scared or worried. These plants are very resilient. Root pruning if done right should only add 1-3 days to the clone cycle. These clones are exactly 2 weeks old today and I pulled the dome off on Thursday and gave them 2 days of hardening up before I pruned the roots. She will go into a 4x4 ASAP.

She will be my 3 WTC to hit the tent. Well at least planned, I do have an extra still and she might be getting flipped soon. Still thinking on it.
