I do the Cal-mag as a foliar or Mass boost once a week in veg in coco..I get better calmag application that way without fighting the properties of the coco...if been throwin a little Fasilitor in there with it..I still use epsom seperate from that but not in place of...that fasilitor steps up and foliar application imo

Thanks for the reply. What dosage do you use Cal Mag as foliar spray? I will need to look into using some fasilitor.. Do you foliar your UC?

I foliar feed Calmag or Massboost at 3-5ml/gal with 2ml/gal of Fasilitor...I also foliar feed epsom salt but not sure what ratios, I eye it..lol

Start of week 5. Things are looking very nice. UC is pulling out of Nitrogen toxicity nicely and is catching back up to the coco. I have to remember that the coco has more light hitting them. Both ways are working very well and seem to like the new room a lot. I'm already looking forward to the next round...

Thanks for stopping by homie. Sorry it took so long to get back, I was out of town. 3 gallon smart pots. I forgot the name of the material, but I will look. I tape top and bottom and it comes in 100 ft rolls. This isbthe first time I've put it around the UC and I like it.. Things are looking very pretty in the mini jungle..

Yes it did. Next run will be a more fair side by side. I need to up the lighting for the UC to be completely fair. Next run I will make the Uc covered with hybrid lighting like my other room. I like what I get off the UC using horizontal and vertical lighting. I have only ran 1,000 w bulbs, next run I will be throwing in 600s. I just have to decide if I'll put the 600s in the wings or verts. I am leaning on 600s in wings and 1,000s for vert in the center of the UC and 600s vert down the aisles between UC and coco trays. What do you farmers think?

I vote wings for the focus. I might even put the 1000s up there.

Damn got some knuckleheaded frankenstien type kolas kicking up in there well done man!

Man I'll tell you what, the coco just kept swelling up and gave us some real knucklheads. The one out of place looking beast is grown from seed and the quality does not stand next to its sisters. I run coco with tap water that comes out at 290 (500scale) and I kept the coco at 750ppm, only hitting 950ppm three times. That is just as low of an ec as the UC (UC was ran with ro water)with stellar results.. The coco took more water and more nutes to complete the run which is the least concern to look at between the two. I am very impressed with the coco. I am ready to try the UC EARTH now...
