In this case I am pleased with the product. Better test in bloom but that won't be for a couple weeks!
Used to clone directly into medium with a weak solution 1/8 strength or less. Need good stems not dinky little cuttings. Space and time saver.Goody. Wanna see if this coco is REALLY super! So you say you clone directly in COCO? I gotta pm you and get some tips . How many days you see roots that way? No dome either?
So I won't be buying another bag to be honest. I have began feeding the plant I am using as a test subject. So really it isn't giving me what I had hoped it would . I will however be using it as an additive to my regular coco perlite mix. Figure it can't hurt. Here is a pic of the girl I have in the Super coco. Her leaves r usually not drooping.I was going to buy a bag, but as I've searched the web for info I've found that the guy selling this stuff has been trying to peddle it all across the canna boards, but everybody has been skeptical. Typically there's lots of people willing to try new products, but not this stuff for whatever reason. That makes me pause. I also watched their youtube vids and the comments were a shitfest (that's to be expected considering YouTube's track record on comments). I need to see some good journals this stuff has been out for awhile now. It's hard to think about risking a crop with something unproven when I have bags and blocks of proven canna and botainicare. But, the theory is fantastic!!!
Bro I have a purple princess clone growing in a 2 gallon pot. And 1 in a 1 gallon they both are potted with super coco. But the 2 gallon girl is beast and the one gallon is doing ok. I recommend using a bigger pot so ur girl gets as much nutrients as possible. I theorized with a buddy who also thinks that the bigger the pot the more nutrients the plant can take in I'm going to experiment with a 5 gallon bucket in hopes I get monster. But ur girl is looking nice bruhSo I won't be buying another bag to be honest. I have began feeding the plant I am using as a test subject. So really it isn't giving me what I had hoped it would . So I'm in total agreement. Spoke to the dude who makes it and it actually says on the bag they recommend a 7 gallon. I get it however should be able to maintain a clone in any size pot imo to be worth it. In any case I will be transplanting to a 3 gallon soon in hopes it will work a little better. @Tnelz , No Problem Bruh im Glad My theory Was proven to be correct. Looks like I will try the 7 gallon or 5 gallon pot and see how this grapefruitĂ—Romulan cut does. Hey bro. Yes it's ready straight out of the bag. No worries about salt because all u need to add is water. Hence "super coco". It's amended the same as super soil. I will be feeding her teas once a week and also nectar of the gods organic if she shows the coco isn't enough. Glad u said that about drip clean though. Just got a liter for free and am going to start using it on my other plain coco plants. Does it work as advertised at the instructed dose? Hoping it does.Interesting!!! Couple of questions...what is the volume of the bag? Is it ready to use straight out of the bag? What about salt buildup (Personally I'd never use coco without drip clean)?
I use it at btl instructions. Would you need to use it if all your adding is RO water in the super coco.OK people I'm transplanting today to a bigger pot and 48 hours from now she will go into flower. Wish me luck. Lol!
What's good brother and thanks for the post. I would not be using drip clean in the Super coco plant. No need. However my dude at the hydro store gave me a liter for free and I want to start using in my normal coco plants which make up the majority of my grow room. Actually all my plants r in coco except the one in super coco. The way I understood DC is it forms ionic bonds with excess salts or something and doesn't allow for build up. Thanks for the wisdom on how u use it. That's good enough for me I will do the same.I use it at btl instructions. Would you need to use it if all your adding is RO water in the super coco.
Drip clean is supposed to put a protective film over the roots if i recall correctly.
For sure, I'm having to water my coco seedlings everyday now, ready to transplant into bigger pots. I think I need a larger veg room. Pain in the ass doing 2 mediums. I usually go from 4" airpot cells to 3 gal and put them on my 4x8 tray, but I have hydro going at the same time and they are going to need that 4x8 tray for veg. might just throw up a cpl of T-5's and veg in the "office" directly behind my chair. Gonna be bright. What's good brother and thanks for the post. I would not be using drip clean in the Super coco plant. No need. Airpots! So here we r after transplant. Roots look dope. She was started in this pot from clone. Watered with just water and once a week with microbial tea. Also put some mykos in the hole with azos as well. Not to shabby. Lol. 48 hours from now and she is going into the bloom tent. Under a 600watt hps. There is also two 180watt ufos above and a 125 Watt cfl on one side and a 4ft 2bulb T5ho on the other. Wish her luck.View attachment 379934View attachment 379936 View attachment 379938View attachment 379939
