The "Drone" is just a smaller version of the Satellite and cost just under $6k
Satellite video is pretty badass... Do you ever have to go back over the product after going through the machine?

I actually thought the centurion and pirhanna were cheap and flimsy units compared to the Twister 2, especially in full on full on mode..the Twister can move some material thru it but it destroys the buds both in appearance and smell, all looks the same in the bags when its all said and done..you can have ten different strains lined up and very few can tell them apart after some Twister abuse..I do like runnin 2 twisters end to end though because I hate re-runnin material twice thru a single machine..closest to a hand trim is hands down the Satellite, but high volume gets a little trickier, I max out at around 30 or so lbs a day with 6 people buckin the vine..the Triminator has a barrel that is twice the size around and a little longer than a twister which works wonders and the misting bar sure makes cleanup easy and time between cleanups is way extended. The Trimpal for dry material but it has to be really really dry to work well..2 Zooms end to end is the over the top setup for some real thru put..

I saw the "Trimstore" in Denver has joined up here, those cats are super nice, very knowledgable, and easy to deal with plus you can try out/rent every kind of machine under the sun until you find the one that suits your needs the best.

Where is the Trimstore on the farm, they are Great People and they have a full stock of parts on hand at all times for all the trimmers they sell, also they rent out twisters , and offer overnight shipping also, Great Place !!

As Sea Maiden mentioned you should check out the Bonsai Hero. For us... they are fanfreakintastic. We purchased our first set of 2 clippers with LED, love em. You can get the valleys and ridges, crows feet, etc., yet while leaving foxtails/donkeyears. Yet FOCUS and STEADY HANDS are a necessity. I have carpul tunnel so they let me work for hours and hours now. Then someone sent us to a shop to pick up the Green Machine for a whirl... yuck! Used it for about 2 hours, cleaned it up, took it back. not for us. We are getting a second 2 clipper set of the Bonsai Heros now. Also a neighboring grower has been working over here for the last month, and after using them, he is getting a set for his own farm... and pretty much we all hate trim machines over here, but we need an alternative to the many hidden costs when dealing with workers.

IME when using the drum style we had to still trim the Petioles so they weren't pushing the flower away from the drum.
Curious if the same goes for the grate style?
I see on the videos people are just stuffing the whole ball of wax in there.
I like the idea of 2 vacs to even the suction on some of these drum models.
Almost leaning towards the Satellite , less equipment and no 220 like Texas said. and it weighs a ton less.
All of these drum trimmers are heavy, have a large footprint and can be a 2 man setup operation initially.
Still partial to the drum with 2 vacs.

Trim Pro rotor is not worth the paper the literature is printed on IMO..used 2 of them side by side for a run and sold them the next week

1 guy can run a Satellite of Drone but better to have a couple people buckin off the vine and one on the machine

Twister all the way....even though your bud will smell like hay, unless it stinks so much nothing can phased it of course. Centurion isn't that much cheaper. If it was 4-5 then maybe but just boss up and get a twister. If all else fails you can rent it out (with you overseeing; operating) for a thousand or more a day.

I can never figure out why every one says trimmers make you bud smell like Hay, B/S I have a twister also have a Rotor the Rotor is ok for someone that is wanting to do some plants by them self, the trim job is just ok nothing great, but this shit that the twister makes your buds smell like hay, to me sounds like you need a better curing method, b/c if you not curing right that WILL make anything smell like HAY, If you are adding nothing but buds into the trimmer and no large fan leaves then how is its making you buds smell like Hay, Here is my thought on this TRASH IN<> TRASH OUT, that's all I can think..

The wet trim machines do ruin bud, ime, its similar to bananas as they bruise when fresh and then cannot be cured too easily after being broken up. This year over in my town a couple of people came up with the best trim machine I have ever seen its done dry. They call this machine a "trimpal" and its brilliant! You have to dry your product first but that is better as its already cured and then can be properly trimmed, which this does. It takes me about 20 mins on hand to finish each unit, and they look perfect when I'm done. The machine can do 15 or so an hour so 1 person can easily do 3 units an hour, its been epic over here as even all my friends that swore they would never use a wet machine again after they had their previous crops sold for much less than expected due to the wet trim job, even these friends have fired 90 percent of their trim crew! Its crazy the guy who invented this machine has even been stabbed by a trimmer out at the bar one night, crazy shit. Here is a youtube vid:

boy it seems like a big keif machine.i kept waiting for them to do something else lol.but no really at the end of the vid it looked like 50% was trimmed and the rest needed a lot of work.but to do that to dry buds for 20 some minutes had to lose a ton of trichs off the buds I would think.

Yeah I would think the same thing, but it doesnt really seem to lose that much. They have a promo model with a screen to capture but I have not seen that one, I have seen tons of strains done through it though and it does seem not to affect it negatively at all. Of course there are certain leafy strains like Sour D that are too rough to do, kind of a good thing as I like to employ certain friends, but the strains that have done well are amazing.

There does need to be a little cleaning but not too much, its seriously quick and good.

You tell me them buds beating around in that or running down the twister for 25 30 seconds, there is not going to be any Frost-Trichs left.

Yeah I guess you have to see it to believe it.
