I may eat my words but I don't see GSC sticking around in many gardens for much longer, it's just not cost effective. I wouldn't mind making some crosses with her but the Forum cut ain't pulling her weight...literally. I'll be sticking with the Geezies.

I'm totally trying to not sound like a dick man, sorry if I came off that way. I'm just being honest. I do grow for a living, not a hobby, and on a small scale, so what I grow has to count. I gave it two solid runs back to back. One fed heavy, one fed med/light and that was enough for me to see that she's the weak link in my stable. To watch the Forum bed just get completely smashed by my other beds is disheartening. The Forum cut puts out tiny ass nugs. People don't like tiny ass nugs, so you get dinged on the price for basically selling what are considered popcorn nugs or kibble. Even though this is expected from the strain you still get dinged for it...it's silly. You would literally throw 75% of a Forum cuts buds right in the hash pile if it were any other strain on earth. To me that doesn't make it worth my time, nutes, electricity, space, etc., etc. Also, if trimming didn't suck enough as it is, trimming cookie crumbs is worse. I could fill that 4x4 bed I've had the Cookies in with one of my OG's, get more weight and fetch a higher price for the finished product. OG is still king no matter which way you slice it. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Forum smoke. The nugs are beautiful and the smell is amazing but the yield/nug size is just pathetic AND the plant is super picky. I plan on making some crosses and running some current cookie crosses that are out there but the Forum cut in it's original form is about to get the boot from my garden. I do think it's a great strain, it just needs to be worked a bit more to be worth running imvho.

I may be blunt and it may seem a bit harsh or snobby but this is 100% real talk man. She just didn't make the cut.

no one thinks your a dick man you clearly said from a commercial point of view just keep killing it with whatever suits your pockets its a pleasure to view your grows ...

D has tossed many fire ass cuts... I fully understand y D is tossing cookies>>>> he lives at the beach & pay's bills with his plants so he's needs r very different then mine....
I live 3hrs from a beach & my rent can prove it..LOL
My plants r 4 the dome & a few good friends.... the only 1's who eat from the buds r the actual buds.. the mother buds feed the kid buds the the kid buds grow up & the cycle goes on & on... any donation goes on keepin the cycle going....>>>>>> maybe ill get a $1 McDouble or if im ballin out of control ill step it up like a boss & get the New $2 jalapeno double.. LOL

I aint playin!!!

My plants r 4 me 2 enjoy so I can keep a small yielding strain if I like her... but im always lookin 4 a mega OG 2 replace GSC

I had a different experience with the forum......I thought it yielded pretty nicely in comparison with other elites. to each their own I guess. I also find it to be one of the easiest strains to trim as well.

First time I've ever heard that. I would consider OG's big yielders when compared to the Forum cut but that's just me. lol

Like you said, different strokes man.

Got any pics to share? I'd love to see some forum cut pics that are even remotely comparable to OG.

I have been growing wifi and true og along side the forum..and I cant get them to produce any better than the forum cut.:depressed: But I just figured i didnt have them dialed in yet....I have been thinking of giving up on growing OG outdoors...The forum for me, is really easy to grow. Not a producer though..:(

Im thinkin maybe OG crosses will be better for me outdoors

Im glad Im not the only one Yum Yum :)
I just went and looked (and smelled) my garden. The forum is yeilding as much or more than Wifi and the True. And the forum is way louder. I fed the the OG's a lot more than I feed the cookies too.

I just went out to my garden to look and smell
The forum is doing as well or better for me than the wifi and the true.
And the forum is Louder too.

edit to add; I suck at growing og so far! :bag:
