Mr Soul-

Female Cannabis – The female cannabis plant, unlike the male, is grown to produce marijuana. Premium marijuana is produced in seedless form by eliminating all pollen sources from the growing environment. Seed production reduces the value of marijuana dramatically by lowering the yield and potency of the flowers. Hermaphrodites are plants expressing both male and female flowers. They may fool a grower who mistakes the "hermie" for a female - only to find his crop is ruined by the unexpected release of pollen. Knowledgeable marijuana breeders are very careful to avoid hermaphrodism in their seedlines.

The attributes of a valuable female are the following (in descending order of importance):

1. Resistance to hermaphrodism
2. Vigor/Yield
3. Potency
4. Flavor
5. Rate of flowering response
6. Resin production
7. Stature
8. Scent
9. Floral structure
10. Floral color

Thai stick 1976 x Kandahar 1971 = blue orca, the " one " , mary poppins, the Nazi's Cut, the Commander's Cut, Sparkling Crystals and a few others that no longer exist.

All from the same breeding cycle.....

I started with 100 seeds of each parent plant. From that I took 100 seeds and from that there were 10 plants selected ranging from Indica dominant thru Sativa dominant. There were 9 assholes I wanted to divorce myself from completely and totally so this was the settlement. One final lap around the racetrack.

The rest of the plants ended up in the middle of the desert somewhere between Victorville and Barstow - America's colon

hey what's up brotha. hope you had a nice weekend with the family & friends ....

the n.l.5/haze are giving me the trouble & i noticed a couple n.l.5/h grow logs with some issues. i think mine were not getting enough light at first, but the others had reports of mutants & i had a couple w/the seeds that never popped.

i wanna start the blue orca x n.l.5/haze f1's soon. think i'm gonna focus on the blue orca crosses.

.... " The journey used to take about three weeks, passing through France; Belgium; Holland; Germany; Austria; Yugoslavia (as it was then); Greece, (I used to go through Bulgaria but the traffic police got really stupid leaping out from behind trees and dishing out on-the-spot fines for speeding. They would jump up and down shouting 'radar, radar!' which actually consisted of a silly little lollipop stick and a loaded pistol! Anyway, diesel was much cheaper in Greece); Turkey, where the food was always good; Iran, which changed every time you passed through, positively fizzing with progress and development; Afghanistan, the beautiful and proud, caught in a time-warp and devastated by foreign influences; Pakistan, where Alexander the Great turned around and headed back home; and, of course, India and Nepal, the magical destination for any seventies mystical tour!

In every major stop along the way there were hotels, restaurants and cafes that catered almost exclusively to the pot-smoking westerners, who networked with each other as they wandered east and west - there were no Lonely Planet guides in those days, and (of course) there was no internet.

This influx of long-haired western youth must have been a curiosity to the locals, who were largely unaccustomed to tourists of any sort back then. But they were generally hospitable, and many found welcome ways to derive extra income. Their experience was caricatured in the 1971 Bollywood movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna, which featured a scene involving chillum-smoking hippies, accompanied by the enormously popular Asha Bosle song “Dum Maro Dum.”

The hippies tended to spend more time interacting with the local population than traditional sightseeing tourists—they had no interest in luxury accommodation, even if they could afford it (which few could), and some would “go native” after a fashion, particularly in India. This idyllic time ended with the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 and the Iranian Revolution, in addition to civil war in Lebanon and tensions in the Kashmir region. The overland route was closed to Western travelers.
