And some Wf#3x Loompas Headband
IMAG0584

is it just me or does V+B not have enough trace minerals? maybe my lady is just hungry:cool:

i was fishing this around the last couple of days cause now im really intrigued.... i did find someone whos been cropping with them consistent for about 2 years and he broke down his feed for me... thinking about trying maybe a 5#er so i can run a couple plants.... this is his feed
"Veg: VB/kelp/sea green/calmg @ .8-1 EC, weekly fed bennie teas, foliar kelp and silica every other week
Flower: 1tsp VB/ 6ml kelp/ 1.5 ml sea green/ +size weeks 3-6 at 1 tsp per 5 gal, tea every other week"
he said his lowest yield was cookies at 1.25 a light, best was bigwreck at 2.25 # per.... but was trying to sell me on the simplicity of it all.... which, mixed with everything else, is why im so intrigued. but w the additives it does come a little more costly, but i guess doing the math still cheaper than where im at now....

that would have all the micros need to supplement it for sure. did you catch his EC for bloom?

no but ive seen him mix shit above 2, so god only knows. if i had some to put in water and check i would, cause i dont know what EC the +size or anything puts off.... just shot him a text

i wouldnt think he'd need ALL of that but to each his own i guess. diversity is key though. but i like the idea of kelp. but im not sold on +size. have to try it

This doesn't make sense to me... The reason this product is suppose to be so revolutionary is that it's a 1-Part. After adding all those other products what is the point? I've seen GPW from idiots running GH's complete line (8-9 bottles) and the same from experienced grower's using a simple, inexpensive, dry salt regime, only additives were to develop flowers and finish them. If you have to add an excessive amount of supplements to keep your girls happy you need to check your environment, genetics, lighting etc...everything BUT your nutrients.

I currently run Jack's Hydro with Cutting Edge's Micro (freebie), that's it! My plants couldn't be happier. The 25lb sack of Jack's cost me MAYBE $80 and I've had it for months.

Basically what I'm getting at is your biggest expense/headache SHOULD NOT BE NUTES! Save your money and better your equipment.

^^ lol, @GR33NL3AF see you understand what im saying!!! i was into the whole sale of a "one part formula" but at the end of the day it needs supplements just like everything else. there IS a difference between growing weed and growing GOOD weed. lol. and couldnt agree more, the feed should be the smallest battle of the day.

I doubt HR would claim it as the end all be all but what they claim is true and you can't say otherwise until you try. They also never claim to be the cheapest option out there. It does what it does very well and works for the intended application, simplicity. I can't imagine going back to my old routine or even organics, it is too simple and effective. This is also way more cost effective than my old setup.

they DO claim such:

copy and pasted from their website:

Through a proprietary process of blending dry pure minerals we are able to deliver an oxygen rich blend of nutrients to your garden without the water that is used in other nutrient lines. When you dissolve VEG+BLOOM into your final volume of water, that solution now contains all the essential nutrients for maximum growth potential.

VEG+BLOOM includes everything other multi-part liquid nutrient lines contain in a one part powder. VEG+BLOOM also includes what other nutrient companies sell as additives, such as aminos, silica, fulvic acid and several other bio-active growth stimulants, as a standard component at no additional cost.

Thank you for making my point, they don't make any of the claims you guys are bashing them for. V+B does work by itself very well. @Aladeen OG

but then why in the last few pages is everyone saying it needs additives???

does anybody have pics of nugs done with just v+b solo, other than the OP? and do you use any additives? or is its strictly V+B? i want to see someone that has done that, because a true one part is where its at. hell even if I could mix in the additive salts and make it a one part... or hear otherwise

It doesn't NEED additives, but we as growers are trying to push our plants to their full potential always. Plus different strains like different nute profiles. Where some strains will love V+B by itself, others may need some boosts to really shine. No different than any other nute line, have to adapt it to your strains and environment. @Aladeen OG I am only using one additive and only occasional feedings weeks 3-6 which is the +size. 1 PK booster and the onepart is still ahead of the game in my book. I am not sure if I have any pics of it stand alone from my first run with it (also a factor) but will look. I wasn't saving pics at the time.

VB solo works okay. VB plus hydroplex and full power works better. +size is unnecessary and +life works better with the dirty.
People fall in love with how easy it is.
why is the +size unnecessary? curious

my indies i had were acting like either they needed more or its missing some micros that they wanted. but they were males so fuck em, i killed em:dead:
but my sativa seems to love it. im adding big bloom because i wanted to... on a feed V+B/ feed big bloom, GW, and molasses/water
but for some hungry strains this might have to have the additives. but like stated previously most lines do to push genetics to their threshold.
View attachment 405795 View attachment 405796 V+B only grown. No additives. I still use it on its own. But think I could do better with an additive. Not a whole lot better, but better nonetheless. Almost 2 years using this stuff now and don't see a big need to add anything, but I know eventually I will.
and these look good for just stand alone V+B. what strain is that if you dont mind me asking @619ster

Veg+Bloom in filtered tap. The ONLY other thing I did was hit them with weekly teas. I used +Size from week 2 to week 4 then I cut everything in half and hit them with a homeade MOAB for week 5 & 6.

IMHO you don't need additives. But whats the harm in experimenting with some. This run I am adding terpinator just because I saw some great reviews on the product. If I can get just a bit more trich production.....why the hell not. But as you can see in the picture above...I got pretty damn good results from just V+B and +Size....in freaking tap water.

I didn't see any def's, and I never brought the base past 5.5 grams per gallon. I should also mention that I'm not growing small plants.....these are beasts in 15 gallon smart pots.
