I got in there earlyier today and trimmed them up really good. I'll post pics later. Same thing happen to me last year and it only did the mold deal when a branch broke. Whats the mixture per gal for the peroxide? Yea I gave them tea almost 2 weeks ago. God I hate mold. Perfect example of why growing gets frustrating and you gotta keep a positive attitude. I guess I'm just a worry wort. Thanks thcfarmer's

hard to tell in the pics but I cleaned out a lot of little suckers and anything close to the ground. I'll go back and do it again in a week just to give the plants some time to heal or should I keep goin?

I do it all at one time, they seem fine with no problems, just don't want bud development on branches ur cutting off. I think u get x amount of bud on plant, its spread out or all in a few colas..So sooner maybe better for weight is my thoughts if ur gonna cut it later for sure. Then it will put energy into the remaining branches up top.

The plants in my avatar I lollipoped them so I could crawl under them. If I hadn't, they would have molded for sure before finishing because the branches trap moisture in the canopy from transpiration and the earth. I would mulch under them too.

I was thinking about getting some hay to put ontop of my soil as a few others have said to do so or red bark. So duct tape huh to help with the broken branches? Do I leave it on for a certain amount of time or do I just leave it???

I can't see your pictures of the plant that lost a branch, but does it look like this kind of? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canker That is canker, and happens as a result of root disease and/or fungus on the plant. When you loose a lower branch to a root issue, it's the oldest roots effected. The way a plant grows, the first growth of the plant correlates with it's root zone. First leaves = first roots. So a large branch that has canker or other branch dropping issues, it's usually because the edge of the root zone in your pots are getting too wet. Take a length of 1"-2" pipe and carve out a hole to the bottom of your pots. Then dump the soil from the pipe, and examine how wet each layer of the soil is, all the way to the native ground.

Your nitrogen is low, beef it up. Easy fix, but don't wait to get on top of it. What do you have to use for a N fertilizer? Also, have you been adding calcium yet?

The branches didn't break because of dropping. They broke because they are like 3-4ft long and didn't have any support. The one that has the fuzzy mold around it broke due to me trying to retie the main stalk up and didn't relize it was snagged on the branch. Was a small branch twords the middle of the plant. I'll take pictures of the infectded area. I honestly think its because there wasn't enought air flow threw the plant. It's doeent really look like the canker but I'm not 100% sure. I did water pretty heavy the last 2 times and it was only 2 days apart so maybe I over watered. I'm gonna let the soil dry out really good. thanks for everything guys and I'll keep you all posted

Sorry for the crumby pictures but that's what it looks like. There are multiple open wounds on the plant from cleaning it up but this is the only spot that has it. I left the branch on there for like 2 weeks and for the first week it was fine and looked to be still growing and the second week the branch was droopy so I finanlly took it off. Could it be from th droppy branch and the water being sucked back out and creating a moist spot on the stalk that molded. I'm thinking I over watered

IME, that is from root damage. I usually over water for a period of time when this happens, and makes one of the lower most branches break. The lower, older branches correlate to the outer roots, the oldest roots. The root that can get too wet if over watered. I have had many discussions about this with many different experienced growers, and nobody can put their thumb on exactly what it is, but often we refer to this as cannabis canker. I often incorporate a watering schedule that allows the soil to dry out a little extra one day a week to help combat this issue. Knock on wood, no plants have done it to me this year.....yet.

I usually get leaf droop with pillowy leaves when over watered but I think results are the same of too dry or too wet.. loss of roots, is loss of leaves from bottom to make the leaves match the roots. I could be wrong..

Yea I think it's def from over watering I'm always to concerned about under watering that I panic and water haha. I got some fungicide spray and clonex to drizzle over the other broken branches. I'm still seeing ants in my soil so also another sign of maybe keeping It to moist in the soil. I'll let everything dry out real good and go from there. I also used some cinnamon around the base of the stalks to hopefully detour the ants from trying to climb on my plants and the fungicide is a mite and fungiced in one

Why I like $10 moisture meters..consistent watering. Especially in earth where u can't lift them up.

Diatomaceous earth is good for general bug prevention. I kill ants, especially the sugar ants..they use aphids like milk cows..that terro ant poison too, targets sugar ant specifically.
