No, the plants were not left in a room with ANY light it was pitch dark for 30 days!!! On top of that is has been rediculously cold and my garage is not insulated in the least..i mean there is no wind but temps in there and outside are basically the same
I have seen plants survive a long time without light, but not a long time without water. Theoretically, metabolism would be slower, but either way, I have no way of explaining that, other than a state of shock that induced a complete metabolic stall.

With flowering clones those could be old trichomes that are decaying from when it was initially flowered.

I was thinking that but it is all new growth. it's probably the latter you mentioned about them being the first ones and more new clear ones will grow. if I harvest now I would barely get a quarter bag off 3 plants. they are also on track as far as size is concerned.

this stuff I harvested at 9 weeks was weaker than at 7. With these 3 plants im harvesting 1 at 7, 1 at 9, and if it still looks like it can go, 1 at 11 weeks. to find out if the 7th week tester I took was a fluke or not. it was near hallucination strong at week 7 but the week 9'ers were just good tasting and decent strong.

I believe taking 1 at different times will give me a way better idea of how much weight is gaining through its ripening stages at what weeks. I'm all about the head buzz so I don't want any amber trichomes, just cloudy, if the charts I'm reading are correct.

So I was reading that high quality Neem Oil sterilizes these fucking fungus gnats, if this is true what do you think the dose per gallon should be as a drench?? 1 teaspoon or tablespoon? Thru using the Microbe Lift BMC, Nematodes, and more of those yellow sticky cards then I ever wanted to pay for, ive seem to got a good grasp on controlling them but still they are not 100% gone!! I am also using the paint strainer bags over the air-pots since it seems to be the most fav planting pot of the gnats. These fuckers are the BANE OF MY EXISTENCE!!! I am so worried about never truly getting rid of them that a lil part of me is thinking about switching back to smart-pots even thou I love these air-pots so much more!! The prob with the smart pots is that I HAVE to get CleanRoots platforms for each one to sit on otherwise they sit in their own poo which DRIVES ME NUTS! So in the end smart-pots end up costing the same or a lil more depending on the size pot then my air-pots...Im hoping so bad that this blurb i read is true and I can sterilize these fuckers with the power of NEEM!

I have went as far as pouring boiling water on my dirt before using it...
The best thing I have found to combat the numbers is a good two inch or more thick top dressing. The top dressing could be sand, recycled glass, pearlite, or even aquarium or other fine gravel. If they cant get to your soil to lay eggs they will go elsewhere. Lay yellow sticky traps everywhere and if they are really bad get some gnatrol, it will kill the larvae without affecting your plants. Neem drenches will wilt or even stunt or kill your plants if they are already unhealthy.

thanks hombre but you must came in at the end of this bc we went over how thats a good idea but bc i am using airpots even if i cover the top the gnats just go half an inch down and into one of the "root pruning holes"...its literally like a fucking fungus gnat hotel, and business is GOOD!!...lol...i got them pretty much handeled right now.. @Tnelz gave the suggestion of using paint strainer bage over the pot and it was GENIUS!! That and using Microbe Life BMC which has the same active ingerdient that Gnatrol has as well as a hefty amount of SLF-100 which is known to kill fungus gnat larva when used at tripple the reccomened dose without any damage to the plants...i havent gotten more then 1 or 2 in almost a week!! WOO HOO!!! It was fucking bad for a minut im talking like over a 100$ in yellow stickies!! LOL!! It was oddly satysfing to see them stuck to that paper still alive and me knowing i won!! very primal! hahahaha

Do you keep that in the same room as the ladies even if they are flowering? Or do you take that box out just to be safe?

It's a neat little rig. I think I'll probably copy it.

It looks like you just operate it under whatever light is in the room? (Meaning there is no light source inside the rig) Do you think it has a significant effect on light penetration? The plants inside seem to be doing well, but you see them day to day to compare.... I was wondering if they grow slower because it's not totally translucent...?

& what is the tube in the 3d pic? Sorry for all the q's....

It lives there... although small, I do let them flower full time along with the ladies trapped in there unable to escape... I've got friends who've emulated it in different ways, some with internal leds or cfls... one was in a trash can with a light in the lid... whatever works,

To work with it for some reason, I move the entire thing with all fans off to another spot with a closed door in between... I do what I must, and I mist the air pretty good on 3 walkthroughs just to knock down anything floating... wipe it down, put it all back in place and turn the fans back on...

The tube goes in the side of the bottom bin and makes a U around/over all the pots held to the pots with a hole drilled below the rims and twisted wire... I hot glued a plug in the very end and drilled holes along the tube right in the bottom where it runs over the pots (the water shoots out.. a sideways hole will fire water off to just sit in the bottom.) I have a funnel I stick in the tube and pour in a half gallon every couple days... good rich soil, water only... nothin to fuck with... about 5 weeks before I plan to chop, I lift one side up at an angle putting the male above the females (it usually presses against the top, bends over, and grows sideways over em anyways.) and with the whole thing lifted up on one end I give it a good thump on the plastic to really pollinate em good with a good amount of time for the seeds to get nice and plump...

Wow nice looking hands!!! What's your secret lol my hands are cracked and bleeding this time of the year
what kinda chemicals do you work with? I don't really use anything just lucky I guess. just remember it's what's on the inside that counts. I have arthritis so my hands be killing me in the joints after working all week.

thanks @Lazerus00! she is actually the girl who turned me into a pothead, taught me how to loosen up and boogy (dance), got me drunk for the first time, and actually in high school was my first 3 way kiss with two girls lol I was a fat lil quiet pimp back then ha ha ha. I never dated her until a year and a half ago. I was feeling real down on myself and she had been asking me to come hang out before so I hit her up to see how she was doin, just trying to hear a positive story. I hadn't seen my daughter in 3 weeks and I was dying inside. I had planned to sit at home and drink a bottle of brunettes to the face and get all lonely drunk. she talked me out of it. I went to go get drunk with her and we hit it off like the WEBN fireworks. she is my rock solid queen, my best friend, my partner, and companion. there is only one thing I'm not liking right now and it's the fact that this house is a mess because, 1, my daughter is 2 and doesn't necessarily understand the concept of cleaning, she doesn't really make her kids clean up after themselves. if we were in a bigger house it would be a little bit different. but with the kids having to share rooms, there isn't much room for all there toys to go in there so they are all over the house. but obviously that's not a huge deal I'm just a nut for seeing a clean house.. her kids really need to turn off the screens and start enjoying life outside more too. They are way too lazy lol. my daughter only watches tv for the 10 minutes it takes her to fall asleep each night.

who else hates messy homes?

I guess I didn't even say what I meant lol. With lack of light and cold temperatures, the plant can just stay alive because of it's lowered metabolism. I bet it didn't grow much if at all.

@Stumpy420 I struggle keeping the feng shui in my house! But it really does clear the mind to be in a non-cluttered environment

yea your exactly right, i think it is basically the same exact size as when i put it out there, i just was convinced that it would wilt and die inside of a week with no light water or warmth...thanks for info homey

Nope no difference. The term cross would be differentiated from the term strain when talking about a homemade "cross". Lack of accepted strain name, lack of uniformity, and uncertainty of the characteristics would contribute to the use of the term cross.

While strain would be used when talking about a specific breeders products. These plants would be more likely be called a strain in general discussion because they should be more uniform, have an accepted known name, and the characteristics are generally known.

The words can be used pretty much interchangeably.
