the product will always cause some spotting but the material is too fine to block the light from reach the receptors on/ in the leaf and so doing its job.
what we can say, the material can be used for a guide to reapply. Light and temperature will degrade this over time, and if a pointer to possible reapplication depending on plant growth phase

Yeah the spots really grow on you literally.. I start looking at my plants and don't see the spots then I know well its time..

4/2 this quadrant is Better Organix only.. I am keeping them separated for time being from all my botanicare plants to keep up with my testing and how I feel on the results so far..

Note--- My go to guy which you will see in this thread is @Ecompost .. He is veryyyyy knowledgeable on organics and there products and has been one of my friends who helped me make the switch and learn.. If you see us talking crap or talking dirty over music videos.. its cool I swear.. LOL

Applications of foliar applied feeds and support additives can be quite helpful when the air temps are a little drier too. We find the calcium in its nano milled state remains well mobile when applied as a foliar, somewhat mitigating the lack of hydraulic capacity suffered by plants in times of extremely low RH%, leading to an overall reduction in the browning of leaf tips, often mistaken for nutrient burn by inexperienced growers unfamiliar with how Relative humidity impacts our plants capacity to uptake nutrients, esp some of the less mobile elements.
Even in Organic systems, check the environment before turning to the bottle.

Actually that is a great bit of information that will help me for sure and most others.. In winters my humidity gets super low generally 30% so I do see some struggles.. They are probably in 35% humidity in veg right now and flourishing happy girls.. I learn something new everyday about calcium and humidity etc.

LOL I forgot to mention I have a gg#4 in a 5 gal. She was originally using Botanicare kind lineup.. During transplant I switched over to Better Organix since was so pleased with the two above gg#4 results.. here she is

nice little mycos graphic. We are learning so much about the evolutionary advantage growing with know biomes of soil dwelling organisms offers above those whom choose to garden synthetically.

I aint gonna sit here and preach data that can not be confirmed by a third party source about how ACT can save the world,preventing pathogens or others because the science is still out, but I am gonna say its a great way to insure Protozoa numbers, and thanks to science, we certainly know they play a vital role in nature regarding the transfer of nutrients from A via B to C and onwards to our plants. And it is one to the key theories that has helped us understand predator prey and how this benefits plants in the vicinity and beyond.

I got me a Aloe Vera Plant that got some water with k-amino that was leftover from outdoor plants.. Picked it up at lowes will show my buddy soon.. :D

I used a near dead Aloe plant to show the power of Breathe too mate, it side by side before and after thing, I will try to find it. BTW K+AMINO grows awesome Orchids, 0.5ml/L once a week at most

cool aloe good to have around, in Florida I had 1 that was about 12 inches around at base stem into dirt, was huge... I need to research the Better line , thx for info man ~ great info...

Breathe really helps |Aloe in high sun matey, the additional support for photons topped with the regulation of stomata guard cells, can have quite a positive effect on those suffering in high light and heat, not ideal for Aloe. breathe helps them cope better, and K+AMINO has a bunch of microbes that insert gene proteins both as Harpin style proteins and AAC syntheses to regulate the accumulation of ethylene receptors (ETR-1), common in plants suffering drought and stress abiotically. It is the massing of ETR-1 receptors that release the gas and in turn this initiates program cell death (PCD) that eventually leads to the death of the plant, where it is recycled in to nutrients by soil microbes and fungus etc

I find coco is the best media for Orchids mate, dont bother with anything else, just use K+AMINO mate and shine the leaves weekly LOL

yes bottom feeding can really help develop root lenght, I try to do combinations, so i will let the top dry out periodically, this helps reduce insect pests and also increase air flow to top roots. Doing both will build the best structure IMO, too much bottom feeding can result in decreased O2 levels as media compacts over time and gravity, plus ions etc. Also it weakens the anchor points at the stem where it joins the root base, lowering the stability in higher winds.
If i see pests, i bottom feed in root pouches until I can see they are gone, no little slits like plastic tubs for water to leak out in fabric root pouches, since water comes out via the fabric gernally, there is no need for a drain. This means no insects crawl in through those over run slots like they always do in plastic plant pots.

I will say on this topic.. The faster you can get your mycos or root better in my case is always the best.. The faster they can start attaching thereself to the Roots and begin the better.. I know since we are on the topic of roots and mycos that P at above I believe 50 ppms can put them to sleep.. @Ecompost will be able to back me up and help on this topic with mycos and roots..

Major benefits I have already seen from Root better or Mycos in general..
Plant resistance to drought.. When I transplant them into pots I really let them dry so those roots expand the most possible. SO by second watering with my mycos and letting them dry out they are filling pots at an alarming rate.. No extra's besides root better and the basic k-amino I am using..

Huge fuzzy white roots--- I am not lieing when I say I thick beautiful roots.. I will be sharing photographs of my roots when they dry up a bit more to get a good photograph..

Not only that with mycos/Root Better you don't have to have high p levels or nutrient levels.. They do great at nutrient uptake.. Really is amazing things I am seeing and learning..

By far Root Better has shown me those most amazing results in root growth and they are so pretty.. LOL

Ok so all my observations with regards the impacts on direct P feeds and Mycos is this. If your plant can source abundant P via root diffusion, the signal to associate with Mycos is restricted or simply remains unsent. So the plant decides, hey I dont need you fungus, I can get plenty of P easily. What is lost is the secondary metabolites the association would enable, these being increased stress resistance and ongoing access to P way beyond the reach of the root system alone

Bacterial Quorum Sensing as a Control Point in Rhizosphere Nitrogen Transformations

Rhizosphere bacteria play an important role in the soil N cycle and plant N nutrition through the release of extracellular enzymes. Temperate terrestrial plants are generally N-limited because most soil N is organic: chitin, proteins, lignoproteins and nucleotides. These compounds require digestion by microbial exoenzymes, likely the rate-limiting step in N mineralization. Proteobacteria in particular dominate rhizosphere bacterial communities, suggesting their importance in soil community enzyme activity. There is also evidence of specific interactions between soil bacteria and plants via quorum sensing (QS): root exudates of many plant species can disrupt bacterial QS and impact QS-controlled behaviors, like exoenzyme production. We hypothesize that (1) bacterial QS is an important control point in rhizosphere N mineralization, and that (2) density-dependent responses by specific populations are primarily responsible for much of the conversion of organic N to inorganic, mineralized N. We have examined bacterial communities in microcosms grown with Avena barbata, and our results so far are (a) Gross rates of N mineralization using 15N pool dilution were affected by addition of acyl-homoserine lactone (AHL) signals to bulk soil. (b) Chitinase and protease specific activity was significantly higher in the rhizosphere compared to bulk soil. (c) A whole-cell biosensor that responds sensitively to a broad range of AHL signals detected more QS signal in the rhizosphere compared to bulk soil. (d) Isolation of chitin- and protein- degrading bacteria from Avena rhizosphere soil reveals that 65% of isolates (347 of 533) did not survive pasteurization, 39% of those had either exo-protease or exo-chitinase activity (136 of 347), and 20 of the exoenzyme active isolates (111) produced AHL detected by the biosensor. While QS appears to play a role in rhizosphere N cycling and plant N nutrition, though the interactions are more complex than originally hypothesized. The biosensor reflects the increased cell numbers and activity observed in the rhizosphere. Our data indicate that signaling plays a major role in the soil N cycle.

Ok so just watched the vid, wow, very cool... What I saw on Tube a while ago, was a guy that would go to transplant and do that exact same thing, sprinkle some in hole before transplant, since then I have been entrigued, but this vid helped so much, great info Thx ~
