Wow been busy busy.
Retire you say. The plan is to officially stop working on 10/1/2018. I will be 58 take a 12% cut on my pension for being under 60. Start social security at 62. If the pension and social security don't make more changes for the worse. 58 used to be normal retirement age and 56 was early. Err.
We would like to do some traveling after we retire. I think stateside will be enough for me. Thinking travel trailer but we both have very different ideas on size. She wants a small conversion van / motorhome. I'm thinking about a 28' fifth wheel.
Would like to spend winters in warmer states like AZ, TX, CA, etcetera. But who knows might just end up renting condos or something.

Now about trimming, yep it has turned into a one man show around here. I seem to do all the farming by myself around here any more. I really don't mind except the trimming. so after the last harvest I bought a trimpal. will use it for the first time in about two weeks.
I'm like Put nobody seems to do shit the way I like. And the end results show it. Still the best hobby I have picked up to date. I really do enjoy the hell out of it.

Have always done my own trimming for that very reason, no one does it like I want it done. Even though it`s a PITA, it`s gotta be done and done my way.

Guess the subject of the day is trimming. Here is my take.

Totally understand C-Mans perspective. I have sat in on 8 hr trim sessions that seemed like there was no end. Fuck! Talk about burn out!! But, you got to get it done. But, cash crops are brutal IMO. A team taking off the fan leaves and another cutting to shape. (have never seen a machine trim as C-Man mentioned). But, there is a difference. Pain in the ass and takes forever but worth the difference.

And as far as all the other what I find highly disrespectful maybe too quick to judge, it is not all the same I am sure, but when I listen and here that I just have to shut it off.
Same go's with so called country these days, its all an act, shut it off.
Just look at Allison pure sweet sings totally from the heart that's not an act she is a musician first and foremost..
Any way am glad you enjoy just be glad they did not do what they did to my band in the early 70s, the Son's Of Champlins song Get High, banned for air play by the FCC, they were actually proud..
