Throw that coco shit out.. We gonna grow in Moon Rocks and asteroid fragments...I let it drift in that range but I'm going by the recommended pH on my nectar for the gods feeding chart. They call for 6-6.2 in veg. I plan on being a little lower this feeding because the last feed was a little higher. I still have a lot to learn so please point out anything you see. I think my last pic was more droopy from the foliar I gave em just before the pic was taken. The mix is coco/sphagnum with ewc and some silica amended with about 40% perilite for drainage. I think next time around I may go without the sphagnum. I'm actually running coco by accident, planned on being in soil. At some point I'll do a comparative grow to see what medium I like better
I to run coco onlySounds pretty solid man. I like it, you seem to do your homework.
I've ran peat based mixes and coco mixes as well as pure coco(my favorite). Peat mixes are pretty good but in my opinion coco is better IF you run pure hydro nutrients. You'd have to try really hard to deprive a plant of oxygen in coco(also known as over watering) but it's not hard to do so in peat(that's why people always add perlite to it).

I to run coco only
I have grown in all medias and coco by far is my fav
has a buffer like soil/peat
acts like hydro
easy to manipulate and or correct
there are many good nutrient lines to choose from
I would really love to build a GreenhouseI'm just a dreamer... I got something in mind for a neat Lil idea... if I get something worth showing I post it.. The mind can be an amazing thing when allowed to dream...
Wouldn't that be awesome. Hell brother I would be happy just to work in one for employment. Have a job I actually like lol..I would really love to build a Greenhouse
with supplemental 315w CMH's
and run plants in Dutch Buckets with Lava Rock for media
with Master Blend salts
but keep dreaming I will

Yea I could tell this mix needed perlite for sure. When I up potted to the 1 and 3 gal containers I mixed it 50-50.Sounds pretty solid man. I like it, you seem to do your homework.
