my parents own a hobbie shop, so i sorta got into RC that way.. anyhow they wanted me to build a race quad for them so i could demo..

so i built this thing its a 250 mini quad, FPV capable.

with a 4 cell lipo i could get 80mpg, not bad considering im not using very efficient props in this picture.. 3" tri are the way to go for a mini quad.

anyhow, my old eyes just can not fl y this fucking thing at full throttle.. but through FPV ( firs person view, ie.. you fly through a camera. ) you sit in your lawn chair, put your goggles on and its like you are driving a car.. no hood in the way tho. its quite the rush actually. hah.

80mpg through a camera is quite the adrenaline rush, especially when you -punch it on a corner, hah. anyhow, they want me to teach people how to fly quads when i get well so thats something i guess.

the plane is a nice little floater. best thing about using dollar tree foam.. you can afford to crash you plane at .99 for two pieces of foam. hah.

great for kids.. takes about a hour to cut the parts out off a sheet of foam... electronics about 90.00 then when you crash you just put your gear in another plane since only the motor usually gets screw up in a really bad crash normally just broken props.

if you fly invest in props. hah

i do look forward to feeling well enough and get my ride on the road. ill take out my 680 size quad. its cool as fuck, can carry a dsl camera. hah.

the hobby shoo thing is my step dads and my moms retirement hobby he started it 3 years ago. he is into trains.. mom just likes to buy shit to sell. laughs

here is the last ting i was working on before i decide dto get off the pills.

if you wanna win races you need a setup like this i think its a 230mm 4mm arms so good chance you wont break a arm on a hard crash.. but when you hit cement at 80mph they do blows up sometimes, nope i wont admit to ever crashing that bad:D.. even tho im sure this is out dated now.. red bottom motors.. heh. this thing will haul ass on a 4 cell lipo.
i have all the parts, just have to feel well enough to solder the computer up ( thats how quads fly, the first quad was built using the motion sensors in the Wii controller, Thank you Nintendo for doing all th e$$$ development, or this hobby would not have quads for many more years id imagine.. since Nintendo had to put millions and millions into there motion sensors for the Wii).. then configure it, and set the pids to my liking.
sigh, but its all dusty, stupid pills.
but its all good. one day at a time.. best any of can do really.

bored as fuck i guess il go play in my soil and mix up some for a solo cup for that stargate og seed.

oh yeah my brother in law called.. asked if i want to go to the renasonse? fair. you know where they dress up like mid evil England and shit. i told them i would go next Sunday.. hah, not been to it for 15 years, had fun last time i went.. so its something i guess.. wish i had edibles for that day, ill just have to make sure to save a little herb to get high before i limp around all day. hah.

ill have that tonight. if all goes well maybe ill have some sprouts by tonight to plant into there new warm and fuzzy soil. hah

i wish they were bigger, it give me something to do.
but i have found my self already talking to the seeds.. like wtf.. i do not even talk out loud to my self.. just never been that person. laughs.

i figure heat is gonna be my number one issue.. 115F its already 80 in the tent not even tripple digits yet out side.. shrugs.. we see i guess.

That is hot! But at least the air is dry.
Just need to watch them,Don't let them get bone dry and after they sprout. No experience with growing in such intense heat.
This tent it is indoors or outdoors?
In a greenhouse setting, we would hose off the concrete walkways, turn on fans, open widows. It still got hot in there, but it helped. You may need an a.c. unit?
But I don't know how practical that would be for you? But I would get a large fan, to blow over the plants to keep the heat from building up in the tent.

its inside. ill do my best to control heat.. but i figure i will be running a bit hotter than most. hope the girls will adapt and yeah its real dry here.

dry heat is way different than that sweaty humid stuff.
dunno if the plant gives a shit tho, heat is heat..

i have a a/c i will keep on as low as i can during the summer. but yeah, heat is a bitch, only reason i went with LED to be honest, this tent is setup for a hood with a fan inside it.. but that would of been bad.. at least this light they say wont burn my plants.

so we see what happens.

i plan on getting a 6" for now.. or maybe two 6" on the first..
i need so much shit yet, sigh. laughs
