And quit worrying about your fungus gnats bro! I read about people doing root drench, let soil dry, put sand on top, buying gnat nix ... none of those I'd recommend, microbe btI with your watering and don't worry about them... but yes I know they're annoying. The BTI will keep their populations in check.

Otherwise you're gonna drive yourself crazy!

And Hypoaspis miles, sorry sometimes i forget to add important info. But you also already have those! When you pull back your mulch and see all that life... pretty rad huh!

I honestly have no idea how people can argue that fact. I don't know where you live but in the states our produce is complete shit, nutrient density non-existent in fact they're pick before they're ripe, so they don't even get a chance to fully develop and then they are put into a trailer and pump full of gases so they can ripen but hey as long as it keeps the pharmaceutical companies making billions of dollars, we're all for it

Yep they pump the ethylene out. Vine ripening is key. As a fruit ripens is when it pulls the most nutrients from the plant. Yes people dont understand and they think hydro outproduces yet buds are made up of hydrogen and carbon. Carbon ways much more. Hydro is obviously filled with more hydrogen compared to carbon.

Similar to a guy that works out and eats chicken rice and veggies compared to the guy that drinks creatine and has water bloated muscles. Those muscles look huge but the guy is weak AF.

Nice, static bins are where it's at! Some days I have more humus in my fingerprint grooves then commercial grows!

Word on that dude, like I said a lot of the info I read was true. And I understand them in the feeding world.

But I ain't mad at him.
That's why I said his nutes sound a lot better than most.

Yes worms in my soil. I loaded half finished compost from my yard in there and layered kelp/karanja/mbp/lava rock every 6" or so like lasagna. That way all I have to do is hit them with the hose.

I'm not hating just my view, no reason for azos, mycos goes on your roots not mixed in your soil. No need for molasses they get carbohydrates from the roots on the plant they cling to. The only good mycos I've seen at a grow shop is from bioag. Yes on synthetics like post above said.

I bit and paid for mycos. You can harvest it with cooked rice. As @brazel mentioned sugar is a calling card to fungi and bacteria. Cook some rice and put it in a sock with some compost and put tnat in a Tupperware container. Punch small holes in the Tupperware and bury it under the roots of a fairly well developed tree. Dig it up a week later and the rice should be pink. That means it's loaded.

You're not making it per se so much as collecting it. Why do we do this? When I smoke the weed that grew in my garden I know every bit and piece that went into it. I made it from nothing but worm shit and dead plant materials.

It's similar to appreciation of money earned.

Ok I'm a show off. But remember I'm not growing these. I'm growing soil structure and microbiology. Loyal to the soil. If you go to no till grow logs there are more mulch porno pics than bud porno.

Or do you mean like an actual version of typical grow flower nutes? If it's the typical grow flower nutes then why not just add a couple more things and skip that? Like basalt,gypsum, neem,keep..etc making your own compost is the shit. Only a couple of commercial compost is rad, oly mtn being imo the best. That being said... if you're making your own bottled nutes then high five! You know what's in them! The problem with bought ones is you don't know what's in there and they only label minimum so you don't know what's really in there, not to mention you're force feeding them... kinda like if someone told you what to eat! Cheers on mushrooms growing is good! I'm not familiar with better organix, I'll look them up. And another thing to think about and before I tell you this please understand I don't mean to be rude discouraged or anything like that I believe these forums are to share information to better ourselves.. I believe buying something that's not the actual ingredient shouldn't be considered organic but there is some products that are...i know confusing huh! This guys crazy! I understand! But to understand that more, you need to look at the company. Generally a company you should support is transparent. They have degrees and real info. But wait are you ready for this some actual ingredients are bullshit like dead microbes, mykos mixed with shit...etc I know, I know I'm obviously delusional and don't know anything! And that's the same way these companies think about you!

I looked at better organix, but I already knew I wouldn't support it just by the name. That's me and my opinion, doesn't mean I think negatively about you... to each is their own.
They had a data page with no info but claim in house scientific testing! A lot of their info was true but on every product they never said what the product actually was! Maybe on the bottle it does I don't know they also said you can email them so maybe you can get the data I don't know.
I don't understand most of their products in the world of amending your soil organically, although I do understand them in feeding when you don't have properly amendend soil. In my opinion you're right back to adding bottle after bottle of stuff.

This is just my opinion I'm not trying to bash you or bash them this is just my thoughts.

Another thing to think of is just because you add a product to the plants and they like it doesn't necessarily mean it's beneficial. You give me a soda I'm going to be happy as shit and drink the fuck out of it but I know it's not good for me. A lot of the stuff I write I have a hard time with cuz I know it can be taken as rude but believe me that's not my point or my motive or my desire.

Cheers and regardless of my opinion I'm still stoked for you and to hear about the Amendments you're using and your own compost

i use box for my weed,no one can convince me other ways,,my bro got this organic down,i not only use his stuff i trust him ,we go way back ,i even told him one time ,not every customer will be happy,,but this one is,,nothing i mean nothing fake about better organix,and bro hampton will sure enough be right there to answer any question you got about theres and any other you wish to talk about,,i use the korean natural farming method for my outdoors gardening,really digging what it about,got 33 gal of water,with 1 bag of compost and a bag of potatoe set out to brew right now,day or so be ready for the little bit i got growing right now,,for some reason im digging you and organix think i have a problem with yall,,i dont if that the case,,i just disagree with the madness you preached other day,,tell you thus much ,i love gardening weather it be weed trees or seeds,there aint no way in hell that im gonna use piss or menstral blood or human shit or body parts ,whatever from the human body in any of my gardens ,honestly it grosses my ass out thinking folk would go that extreme,but they do,just not this cowboy,,that soil will make magic without all that mess,,so while yall been on the gross storm i just been laying back,,as you said to each there own,,anyway im a organic gardener ,cause im a broke dick on a monthly budget and have learned from several years of exercise to dig with what you got,end result is the main goal,lmao

Haha I know better bro. I was even explaining that Alan's shit is legit. It has a shelf life. I've agreed some people just don't have time. See the fact that we run no till makes growing weed...well...boring actually. The time we would spend watching plants grow can be used to research ingredients. They use fancy names. Alan isn't selling magically juice. He utilizes fermentation and enzymes to process.

Shit you guys are awesome and Alan is one of the few I would trust.

Very old school. The extremely potent finger hash from Afghanistan is made from this plant. It's wild I have a video somewhere. The guy starts with a pile of keif and reduces it down to the size of a gumball kneading it like dough. Wetting his hands occasionally to keep hash fr9m sticking to the oils on his hands.

It turns out black.
