I agree I wouldnt use this on a plant that was gonna go into flowerI lurked onto this. I did work at a tree Nursery where this practice was used. I would be a little more hesitant when using it on consumable plant. I think that a spinosad dip would be effective. It's a larvacidal bacterium found in distilled rum. It is an endotoxin found in the flea pill known as Comfortis. Harmless to beneficial insects as well as mammals
Another awesome option that I have found would be a ritha (soap berry) solution. You can purchase certain nuts pre powdered or you can hand crush them or powder them using a Magic Bullet. Crushing by hand I would recommend about 10 nuts per gallon. If you powderize could use one teaspoon per gallon.
as I always clone out....as in allow the plant to grow and clone out
bleach is pretty harmless once evaporated but I dont like residue on my consumable plants
but as well I also use spinosad
just depends on where it is commin from
believe it or not
I out maneuvered pm
I snipped from a pm covered plant and washed the entire clone in bleach solution
then cloned once rooted and growing I cloned the very top of the plant washing in bleach....3rd gen pm was gone.....never exibited it again
