Multiple Issues/multiple Plants Week 5 Of Flower

I’m up early again waiting on the lights to come on. I’ll be able to see how low temps for overnight, and if the dying of the leaves has slowed down or stopped.

I’ve also got some seedlings ready for some new shoes this morning!

Regarding runoff and ppm as I go into the actual flush period, is my goal to get that runoff down close to 0 by the last week before harvest, or willit never get that low since the water is first running through the sunshine mix?

Your plants look as though they are starving, bits of yellow can be put down as a def, your plants look like they are trying to finish flower, some one said lock out, I'd look at that first, check your PH first, then check your PPM's and check out Calmag def if the other two are fine.

The pots are still pretty heavy from the 2 gallons I gave them a few days ago. They are drying out, but not enough to give any more water or nutrients today.

Leaves that were already affected continue to die off, but it doesn’t seem like new growth is affected or like the deficiencies are spreading.

Shame, those plants were off to a cracking start. If you have new growth, stick to what your doing now, there's nothing you can do about what's happened this far into flower, so just keep going with what your doing until you finish flower and you should just graze through.

I know!! They were just about to swell when all of this happened. Much skinnier nugs in my future...but as long as I get something smokeable, I can at least keep saving money and focus on the next run. I just wish I knew exactly what the problem is/was. Too many variables, and I don’t want the same thing to happen to the next round

Don't beat your self up, we all get it wrong from time to time, I burnt 3 nice Sativa's before I realised I was burning them to death, and cut the nuits, next time you'll get it right, just tweek what your doing now. The only pointers I can give is to watch your PH, and PPM's, and most times you'll get away with a calmag def, which is easily fixed if you catch it in time.

Ya you will be fine. Yields will be lower but I can see the buds are still swelling. I’ve had a hunbdred od these kinds of harvest. :D
I really think the onset was to cold then ya flushed with a cold pot which is a big no no because the plants can’t suck up the water letting the pathogens take over.
There’s always going to be issues but over time you learn to notice the problems a lot faster and how to deal with them. That’s is the key.:smoking:

All 12 are hanging in there. There are a few with some dying sugar leaves, but they are still green and connected at the stem.

They are all *almost* dry this morning, but I can still feel a little weight in the pots. Should I let them dry out one more day?

For the next watering, I was going to shoot for about 6.5 ph and 200-300 ppm mild nutrients, and make sure the temp of the water is up in the 70s.

Anything else you guys reccomend? Today is day 38 and I hope to harvest most by day 56. I have a couple stragglers that may go a little longer, but those are my healthiest looking girls

pH to 6 at the highest for coir.

Agh, it’s been a long week, but I feel like they are much more stable than they were a week ago. I got a carbon water filter (the kind that are used for RVs) just to see what kind of effect it had on my well water.

It is down to about 75 with the filter. I also got my calibration solutions and calibrated the ph meter. The ph out of the tap is right between 6.3 and 6.5.

That's about right for tap water, you could let it stand for a day and use it from the tap at 6.2 - 6.5 in coco.

Awesome! 10 gallons has been sitting up there for about 14 hours. Going to check the temp and if it’s above 70, and the pots are light, I’m going to give everyone 1/4 tsp of sea green/ gallon as a flush.

Getting your well water tested would eliminate a lot of unknown variables. I've got a shallow well too- they can be fickle. It isn't much, definitely under 100$. Then you can say for sure it isn't your water. And unless you're chlorinating it yourself letting it sit isn't gonna do anything for ya. Test it without filtering it. Nice lights btw:D

Thanks there are all different COBs

I only have cold water in the grow, and it comes out of the tap around 58 degrees. I’ve been letting it sit just to get up to room temperature and into the 70s since I thought the cold may be the problem.

I definitely want to have the well water tested soon. It tastes great after being run through the filter I bought, and all of my seedlings seem to love it. Starting to lean towards cold/nutrient issues as opposed to water quality, although it is definitely a concern.

So my youngest looking plant decided that week 7 would be a great time to start throwing some nanners. After spotting 4-5 I decided to just chop that plant at day 42 because it looked like they were forming all over.

I know it’s too late for any seed to mature, but I still don’t want to risk pollen flying with 11 other female in there.

I checked all 11 other plants and only found 1 other nanner, that I plucked out with tweezers. This was on an older plant that will be done in 1-2 weeks so I went ahead and left it and will check it again closely tomorrow.

Trying
to push everyone for another two weeks, but the damaged sugar leaves are starting to die off on some, and I feel like mold be my next issue.

I’m keeping the room as dry as possible, with plenty of air exchange and fans blowing.
