Took 5 gallon of water 7.25 oh added one cup ewc last night tossed the buble stone in and it now read 8.3ph without molasses

iv read the plant uses sulfur. so is their a reason for unsulferd as that is what i bought also.

plants use sulfur
but molasses is to feed the microbes
thea is to inoculate the coco/soil not to feed your plants
and you only want enough molasses to feed the microbes in the tea for 24 hours...nothing left for the plant
when you use the tea the microbes will go in, attach to the roots, go to work breaking down minerals and feeding the plants, in turn the plants feed the microbes sugar

the tea is for the soil

I use RO but my ph starts at 7
when I add the ewc it drops to 4ph
in any case dont ph the tea
and maybe cut the tea with plain water
ph the water to say 5
then use a dilution rate of
5:1 water:tea
so 5cups water:1cup tea

this is just to add microbes to the media

oh i thought because of the low humid 19-20 its a good idea.. it seems to help fatso or his leafs get so crisp.

I dont know who fatso is but misting your plants can cause burn and irreparable damage
it is better to use a humidifier to raise RH in your enviroment as this is not a direct exchange of moisture on leaves

fatso is my afghan he had fat leafs as a seedling, but probably average now.

i wont mist any more.

I think their is acid eating alien life forms in my tap water. I made 5 gallons of feed 2 days ago and adjusted PH to 5.8. This morning the same feed was 6.3. I checked both PH meters in 6.86 solution and they were correct. I broke out the PH down and brought it back to 5.8 before using.

The tea actually dropped to 7.5 after adding the molasses.

Now the tap water itself is high at 7.25 do to what I suspected, the pond has backed up into my water hold that my spring flows into.

I could harvest now if I had to, But will try to limp thru another week or so. They are 11 weeks old today which is longer than any of the breeder claimed.

@Wisher619 Thanks for the help as always I will have to go buy some water to get by with for now.

@jipp the only time I ever mist is when starting clones inside my dome and then I mist the indide of the dome not the plant.

Sorry all for mostly popping in asking for help right now, lots of things going on with mom and dad and the ALS diagnoses

i was thinking. every sick plant i have i used coconut water on. i do not recommend using it. maybe one of you have had better luck than i have.

Solid advice Jipp, you gotta take a few minutes to power down and take care of yourself too bro. Wont be much good to anyone if you burn out. Hope things improve soon @Broken

Thanks man, I am trying to steal what time I can. I have mostly been in a mad rush to get things ready for visiters at the parents house and visiting a little. The last 2 days I spent some time working on getting the pond drained back but we have 2 more days of rain coming soon. Doubt I will try coconut water.

Thanks bro. Doing my best with everything going I have not took the time like I did in the beginning to log each water and feed so I could see whats next so between that and the water ph spike I am not sure what these plants should look like with everything going into week 12. This is 2 an 3 weeks past what breeders say so I figure the should be close to done. I don't have an amber trich anywhere.

I'm thinking the deep purple gets chopped in the am. I think the GSC #1 will be next in a couple days. 3 others will follow close behind. Then I have a 2 week younger GSC.

The 2 that cause the most hassle are the Auto speed bud that I had to flip by going 12/12 by carrying them to and from another room each day. Whats the odds they would not try to reveg if I just let them ride 20/4 like the Auto They were suppose to be ? I'm betting I would not like it lol. They have already caused timing problems with this group and will cause more with the next.
