The real question is why tho. Take the plant for what it is. At this point the telephone game is in full effect and you have to consider the hype and marketing surrounding it. Truly doubt you will get a truthful answer unless you were hanging around the crew at that time. I understand maybe for the point of recreating or back crossing but if you havent been holding onto those early sensi strains from the 90's you wont be pretty much nowadays.

not sure what the genetics are on this OG RINGO from Levi at SOHUM. But it had the aroma of brand new Chuck Taylor's still in the box, lined with brand new tennis balls and maybe a sliver of lemon rind.

Just got word, wife coming back from HI with Abusive OG seeds. She said the grower she got them from gave her some flower and it is very potent, big dense buds. Looking forward to adding this strain to my collection.

Very nice, the Abusive is definitely one of the cuts that was around in the early 00's; so a bit closer to the original. However my question would be what plant was the pollen donor? Either way I am quite certain you are in for some serious smoke.

Also, was it a breeder who provided the seeds? If so who was the breeder?

FYI if you find seeds inside of an Abusive OG flower, those seeds are not Abusive OG - In the same way that Michael Jordan's children are not Michael Jordan. His children might be exceptional, or they might not be. Either way they are not Michael Jordan.

TRUE. But you have to consider
when it comes to the OG how many "cuts" are "not Michael Jordan" . And the people that have been holding it down and keeping an "MJ" for decades deserve a fair amount of respect and gratitude. I'm rambling I know. But these days if the closest thing you can get to Michael Jorsan is Michael Jordan JR. I'd be HAPPY.
Although I enjoyed watching Larry Bird any day of the week over MJ.

I've tried that from a dispensary and it was pretty good. Mine had an almost cheese funk too it, I don't know if some cheese got into it somehow when it was breed in Amsterdam.

Also really interesting to read more evidence about TK being essentially the OG that started everything and also that it has Hindu Kush. Whatever it is, good OG is still my favorite to this day with 20 years of experience. Just dabbed some RudeBoi OG rosin actually. Also there is a hybrid with Abusive OG in the Illinois shops (its a chem x sour d x og cross) that makes great concentrates.

I have the original Og cut and have back crossed it 13 times producing seeds and phenos almost identical to the original cut. I don’t sell seeds but willing to trade seeds for something unique from back in the day. If anyone is interested pm me. I’m in CA SFV (San Fernando Valley) or we can cross it with the original Og cut as well.

Just my 2 cents on og kush. A friend of mine in Flagstaff who worked at the brewery had a grower friend who was small scale. 400 watt light just for personal. Makes me think he did it on a larger scale in the past. Anyway the year was 2000 and I had a seed of ATF going. Somehow his friend wanted to trade a clone of that for this kush. It was called og kush. Short plant, no branching, thick leaves, greasy sheen on the top. Green instead of white where you can see the calcium veins. Diagonal and perfect lines going down the leaves. All of the leaves had 5 fingers, and the bottom 2 were shorter and straight across. The smell was lemon car wax funk and gasoline. The high hit you rite in the nose with stinging lemon but zero anxiety. Everything about this plant was high quality. After the lemon filled your face just in the nose and sinuses, the high did an afghani rainbow effect across your brain. None of the high was in your chest just to the head but it had an afghani effect. The afghani part of it was pure gasoline.
Just researching..... There were 2 deadhead guys who crossed the secret ingredient to the dog bud. And the secret ingredient is. Lemon thai x pakistani kush. So I dont know if they had anything to do with the 91 with that lemon thai but those guys were from cali and they did the og kush cross in 1993 or 94 . Theres an article online somewhere. So I guess the og kush I had was one of the phenos of that cross. Secret ingredient x dog bud. And I guess the dog bud is something like NL x shiva x afghani hawaiian. Peace

And the shape of the leaves were like footballs. Very oval finger leaves and the bottom two leaves were straight across. Very thick leaves with a Greasy sheen on the top sides of all the leaves. Woody stem.
