315 CMH or 400w HPS for a 3x3x6?

they were out of my league back then and sure as shit would be now,time to take a ride down a dirt road find a farmer out hahaha,you could take that fuel line and put roight in a 5 gal can to start it

I got the tank full of gas/Sea Foam right now... it holds about 5 gals, I need to pull the line and use the gas now before winter... that was going to be my winter project..... BUT NOW I have to make up all this time I have been messing around with this Green stuff :) lol..lmao

I got the vivosun, it comes with a 3100k bulb. But I'll probably buy the Phillips 3100k after a bit.

From what I hear, they aren't much hotter than led fixtures of the same wattage.

I cant say about led but 315’s are as hot as a 400w metal halide in an open fixture. And they put out a ton of ir like hps. I would not say they run cool as a description.

It seems to be a touch hotter. The tent is up about 5c the led only puts it up 2c.

So while it is hotter, it's not that much hotter. Tent is at 26c well within reason.

I an see though how in summer this would be hard to run without an air conditioning unit.
