I'm gonna suggest something. Get some clear plastic cups and cover them so they act as little green houses .

Seedlings have have little roots, they cant suck up water properly so they drink from there leaves. Well this is what I have read. I'm only only my second grow. I read alot and watch YouTube like crazy.
I would suggest only covering your seedlings until you see those first set of 3 fingered leaves, it's true that young plants thrive under higher temperatures and humidity but keep in mind that all plants need co2 and if left in a confined atmosphere for too long you're actually stunting growth.
I've been growing for a while and as soon I see those true leaves I transplant and start training for harsh conditions. I'll drop my light as close as I can and use my fans to force as much direct wind on them as possible, by time flower comes my flowering branches are thicker than some growers stalks.

Thanks for info

So this came in today. And a pic or two I took a day ago.

So this came in today. And a pic or two I took a day ago.
Awww shit !!! My apologies, I should've introduced myself a while ago. I hope I never come off as a know it all, I have a few grows under my belt but I only reply when I see something I have experience in dealing with.
Seeing someone go hydro for the first time is always cool and interesting. I have a diy set up.
5 gallon buckets, I installed a 3/4" drain valve and a water level viewing tube. From my experience plants grow a lot faster with a top fed dwc so I found some water pumps on sale, I use those in conjunction with 3/4 tubing and hose clamps and rigged it up so that the water is constantly recirculated. This helps in keeping your nutrients mixed and oxygen rich. The containers are net pots and they fit the 5 gallon bucket like a lid, I just make a 3/4 hole so I can run my tubing through and connect the irrigator once the hydroton pellets are in (rinse several times before you use them). My air pump has 4 lines ( use air lines of equal length so there's always equal distribution ) and I use 3" air stones. In this set up all you have to do is refill your buckets to the proper level with ph, reverse osmosis water(r/o) in between water changes.
Let me know what you think and all questions are welcomed. So far I've grown white widow, bubblegum, Bruce banner, banana kush, amnesia haze, GDP, master kush, wonder woman, blue dream and a bunch of no named bag seeds and I've kept journals on most if anyone is interested

Once yeah these seeds I popped only 2 of the 3 are growing. They are random seeds given to me. I am going to hold off on the dwc grow. Till everything gets worked out where I live. Once all that is done imm set up good seeds in the dwc. Till then doing the soil run.

As long as you're growing is what I always say.
When you are ready to switch germination will be a little easier, at least in my experience. Just get yourself a cup of r/o water, adjust ph to 5.8-6.0 and soak your beans in. Keep the cup in a dark corner and start looking for tap after 2 days.
You'll definitely use more ph down so having an extra or large bottle will help especially if your nutrients aren't labeled as "ph perfect ".

I doht ph the water I soak them over night and once they sink into wet paper towel until the tap root is about 3/4 of an inch.

Ph really isn't that big of a deal for germination but the process is slower when the levels are high... like 7.0 and up high

I've had my fair share of tap roots being damaged trying to peel away the paper towel so that's why I suggested soaking only.
The other problem I get occasionally is I'll have to peel off that embryonic skin so the plant doesn't get trapped and cant breath.

Yeah paper towels can do that. I had the problem with cotton pads catching the roots.

Got a tip from a breeder.

Try moist coffee filters. And in potting soil its best to use tap to germinate and water in because the lime or oyster shell in the mix is not activated for a week or two out of a fresh bag.

He also said tap would be better as i was using ro water at the time. He was right. It cut my germination time in half. He said he thinks the minerals help.

And i never adjust tap water ph. Not neccessary.
