Burned Haze

Guest
So the dosage that keeps showing up in my research seems to be right around 100 mg per gallon as a "safe" level (Burned Haze was a bit higher unless he is using low-dose 81 mg tablets). Using that as "a general rule of thumb"; my 40 gallon rez will require 4000 mil per week / 325 mil per aspirin works out to 12 tablets crushed & dissolved in top-off water every week of flower (beginning week 4) x 2 (2 rez') is 24 tablets each week.

I finally found the brand in post #144 1000 ct @ 325mg (on Amazon of course... but it did take some digging)

I ordered two, that should cover approx 80 weeks of growing.

Thanks a lot. That article re-enforces my findings..

". . . The solution is 250 to 500 milligrams (one or two regular aspirin tablets) of aspirin per gallon of water. Treatments are made once every three weeks throughout the growing season. Here’s a word of warning — more is not better. Whether you use the solution as a foliar spray or soil drench, too much aspirin can burn the plant up. . . ."

If I break down the above dosage to a weekly rate (and again heeding the warning) it equates to the 83-166 mg per gallon, per week. My planned 100 mg fits in nicely with a safety margin on each end.

I think this is going to work out nicely. 🍻 🥂

UPDATE: Still Putting on the weight!!

It is looking like i will have at least two harvest from this particular grow. The plant on the right (ms yellow) got shut out of the space game, on top of that i found that one of my air lines had come lose on that side; shutting off about 50% of the air for that plant. She has truly been abused.

Ms. Green on the other hand is growing as expected with 3 weeks to go (by the calendar). Buds are thick and heavy and starting to seriously lean. 😎 A couple are already the height of a wine bottle (like the last harvest) and are now just filling out. 🥂🍻

Sweet! Huge budz!

Not that you asked (lol) but the soil is too wet.

agreed! that was taken at 0430 this morning right after watering. This is 2 minutes ago and we are 12 hours from the next 10cc's. Each morning I have to let a few drops sit on top until they soak through. Then i can apply the rest to same spot and it gets sucked evenly into the RR. I'll try for root structure photos tomorrow (plants are in clear trays).

Nice fat cola's. 👍 Only one thing I would do if the plants were mine, and that's drop the N and try to get it used up by the plant before chop.

Thank You.

The N damage you see is from about 4 weeks ago when i did the final fed of CNS-17 Grow & Cal-Mag too close together. I did a 5 gallon (or so) rez change to bring down the PPM down. I could not trim off the damaged leaves because i had just defoliated the colas a few days earlier; so i had no choice but to leave them. They have had zero N since then, nor will they receive any over the next 3 weeks. I will begin adding aspirin as soon as it gets here (Thursday) to supplement Ca. Mag is being supplied by the "Sweet" product.

🍻 🥂

UPDATE: Transplanting of the newbies!! 🥳

stone is wet from rinsing & testing of rain rings. had to dampen the RR so that i could get it out easily and handle without drying out and breakage.

Harvest Update #1 - First Chop of Ms. Green

New hanging drying rack. I will be placing a 15 in fan in the bottom section. Right now i just have a small usb fan with 2 4in fan heads. I converted my old 2x2 cabinet into a drying closet as needed. At times other than harvest it is used for storage of nutes, etc.
