Possibly the dose going into but the calculations are tricky unless they test it after. I think it can be like 60-80% of initial. If I remember right you take the thc concentration of the bud and calculate it like this. 20%thc per gram is equal to 200mg per gram. Basically x by 10 for the mg per gram i think. Then you need to calculate the loss during extraction usually around 80% retained. Then break down the dose per unit.

Something like that. It's been a long time since I went through it and its probably evolved a lot since then. Not claiming this is fact cause I'm just going off of memory from a long time ago.

I really think the big difference is the bud density and firmness of the stalks/branches......... these should impact final weight quite a bit. I'm starting to see some cola leaning too, which is a good sign the tops are building on weight.

And if every branch is just an extra 1.5g.....that's significant in aggregate.

Under the HPS, I generally hang around 150 branches to dry, and that's not included the fluff and smaller stuff I place on screens to dry. I'm guessing I'll be hanging around 220 branches from under the LED's but no fluff or smaller stuff until the final trim. I place everything in Seal A Meal bags, suck out the air and off they go. So they'll hang around 6 days, depending on density, then they'll go into large tupperware containers and opened/closed OFTEN for the next 4-5 days until they are dry enough to package up. The bags are 8 inches across, so no bud will end up longer than that.

Trimming should be really easy, considering all the defoliation that went on. It will be made even easier because of the staggered chopping.

Many people have responded over the years how much they appreciate the finer details, as it's a nice grow tool for newbies. I'm happy to help. Many of you THCFarmer's don't know it but if you check over at RIU, I probably have 20 grows on there over many years with similar details. I wanted to show a solid picture of my lollipopping, the removal of the bottom 1/3 of everything on the plants. This helps with air flow, being able to get in to water more easily and less crap that never finishes on the plant (and thus, less trimming). By the way, I left about 1/3 more on the plants up top on the other side of the room as an experiment.........I'll monitor the final weight on each side as a guide for future defoliating.

I should also mention this is stressful to most plants, and it normally takes a day or two for the plants to bounce back. Make sure they are well watered, I watered heavily late yesterday, which will help reduce the stress. Also, be gentle with them, tell them you love them- they’ll appreciate that and give you bigger buds. Lol

I went back tonight to look at my Zsweet Inzanity grow and to check the final weight. It ended up at 66 oz of primo stuff......shame the strain has been discontinued.

Hey SSHZ I just went back and looked at your journal on RIU, my Inzanity is quite different then yours, in fact looked at some other pics on the inter web, Mine is different, maybe not even inzanity, I still have the original packaging and it says inanity and I have a few seeds left. I'm going to look into it a bit more seems weird. I got 2 coming down soon i'll pm you pics to see what you think.

Ethos offered 100 packs of seeds to anyone who could win a cup with the Inzane in the Membrane. So, people started growing it with poor results. I saw numerous lab tests, some came out around 16% THC. It was supposedly over 30% per Ethos. There was 1 pheno, a haze leaner- that was supposedly incredible but that pheno came along far and wide (meaning, it's RARE) and took around 14-15 weeks to finish properly. Zsweet Inzanity was widely regarded as the best of the two.

I was just looking at mine a bit ago , a lot different bud structure, leaf, branching its just different, when you look at the buds they don't look like a heavy solid bud, but there just heavy with oil. mine has a kinda pine sol smell with hint of gas , but sweet , hard to describe, but you could stand there and smell it all day long lol, my is very potent, everyone says that, and everyone loves the high. 8 weeks 9 at very most and she is done
