Have I ever used anything else? Yes. This is my commercial grow in Oregon from back in 2018. This setup you were viewing in my home is a test concept because I’m starting a new commercial grow and I’m looking at different options. And I’ve just got 4 bag seed growing in there because I’m simply dialing in my environment.

Okay so exactly my point - You have a biased opinion of them because of a negative conversation you had with them. Not the quality of their lights. IF you just don't like the company, then say that.... but don't bash the tech without having some supporting factual claims (that would require some sort of evidence of the claim).

Alright Kyle, This is 100 percent true. I went to the official spiderfarmer site and if you take a look at the SF 1000, it use to post an average PPFD. It no longer does. It was removed by SF the only reason why they removed it was because I sent them a IM on this forum and copied a couple of the moderators on this site were copied. Spider Farmer was forced to answer the question, which was "Oh Thank You for point out our Mistake".
Additionally, what growsince79 had happen is basically the exact same thing I had happen with another Chinese LED light company. Bestva, I was stupid and I looked at the reviews on Amazon, like 4.8 stars. Got the POS and it was just that a POS it went back to Amazon and a truthful review was done on the Amazon Site. 2 weeks later I start getting emails for Bestva stating that if I change my review to 5 stars they would give me back my money and I could keep the light. I told them to pound sand.
This is not speculation. I was purposely being a smart ass at the being of this thread because I do not believe the claims.
It seems like you had a lot of problems getting your grow going and it would seem some of the questions you have asked on this site would be rather elementary to an experienced grower like yourself, FWIW.

Why is it that your present grow has all the tables covered in what Panda Film, but all of your 2018 grow pictures have the same set up but Caps on the blocks?

HLG 100w is $20 less than sf and uses better parts.

Just looking at the driver and diodes, the sf1000 has 218 diodes, 10 of which are ir and deep red and it uses 100w. The hlg 100w uses 192 diodes with the same wattage. I don't know about the heatsink material and thickness but from looking at that, the sf1000 seems better. Although, this is disregarding spectrum and this assumes that sf and hlg both use real samsung diodes.

Edit: And the sf1000 is easily dimmable.

I haven't compared output but both lm301b and 301h have the same voltage and amperage. I think the lm301h just has a spectrum geared more towards plants.

I think they are supposed to be more efficient. I have both. The new ones have less diodes and 4 351h deep red.

I just looked at the data sheets and they both have the same output. Just different spectrums.

I just read it and it basically said nothing. That could have been one of the worst articles I've ever read, so much conflicting information and so much useless information. Not to mention the typos.
