It has GSC in its linage and that is known to not be a big producer.
Well there is thread on this site that has a different take on things. The poster has the lights connected to a control and is using an apogee light meter. He is getting 10 percent less out of the lights using the control. So I have that concern at this point.It’s amazing how mine stay so short and others are growing trees........lol
What hasn’t been discussed is I have the lights jammed in a 4 x 4 space, with 95% reflective plastic on the walls. Probably no one is getting the intensity I am as most grow in 5 x 5 spaces. The intensity goes a long way to keep everything shorter.
Must read for anyone with Gavita LEDNot sure what your are surmising........But are you saying when run thru a controller, there is less intensity? or maybe the controller is not set properly?
By the way, I had my adapters and controller up on eBay for 2 months at a great discount and never got a bite or any interest at all.
The Controllers and the E adaptors work a little different. The Controller (Trolmaster in this case) runs low voltage current to the E series adaptor. Line voltage runs thru the adaptor to the light. There should not be any difference in running the controller and not running the controller. Fluence does it by running the low voltage input into the driver itself.I'm checking to see what gavita has to say about it.......I'll let you know.

t does seem with many electronics, the more devices you run things thru, the less effective (for lack of a better word) they become. You are running power thru the master controller and then the adapter and then on to the LED's. I'm sure there is an electronic term for this........
So I do see info on a power drop when running long cables, and also line resistance from running unit to unit. So I think what is going on can be expected. Let's see what Gavita's comment are- and of course they would never say a word about it.
So I got an email back from Trolmaster already and this is not bullshit. Gavita allows the lights to be ran at 115 percent with a controller. So these rat bastards have done it again. I am just about done with Gavita with all of their bullshit. I have the 1650e's as well. When I sat those up I had a bad e series adaptor so I ordered another one and it took months to come in. I was running the lights thru a heavy duty timer. When it came in it was a completely different unit. Larger and had waterproof connectors. I must have spent a good 20 hours working on getting the two to work together. They also changed the plug from a 6 wire RS connector to an 8 wire RS connector and the bitches changed the conductors that carry the low voltage to the e series adaptor to get the e series adaptors to communicate with the light. Meaning I had to cut the cable apart and move the wires around so the adaptors would talk to each other because they are daisy changed. So, after doing some extended research regarding getting control of the room and house pot smell, I have decidedly passed on the HVAC Air Scrubber with Ozone. I've just read too many negative things about it with people dealing with Asthma and breathing issues. I wanted it and was willing to spend the $900, but I'm trying to make things better, not worse.
After a lot of research, this one unit I found comes up over and over. It's a large floor unit, 28 inches high. It has an ultra rating for moving way more air (like 35% more) than any other available similar unit. This beast can clean an area of around 2400 sq. ft., if doors are left open for the air to circulate. My 1st floor area is around 1400 sq. ft., so it's overkill. Filters need to be replaced every 6 months for around $100 to be effective, but use their filters and you get a lifetime warranty. So 2 filters on 2 sides of the unit (Charcoal for smell and H13 Hepa (the best) for particles, dust, pollen, dander, etc.). It also has an ionizer, which will produce ozone at a very safe level- very very low amount. You can turn it on or off if you wish.
I know someone that knows someone that has one and he said his allergies and coughing have improved greatly. Very high reviews on Amazon, independent testing, etc. It should be here maybe by Friday, I'm hoping I like it enough to put one on each floor.
