Agh I did it now, I was bending some branches cause holy crap man, it’s getting dense, I was in a hurry and didn’t flex the branches enough first, this is the lower part of a clone I topped, the branches started splitting off bad, it’s a nice looking plant, might be toast, 2 of the 4 branches are split pretty good.

See what happens, I turned the led down all the way, should help a little.

Made a dirt mix, then used almost all of it for planting sunflowers outside lol.

10 gallons fox farms ocean forest
3 gallons large perlite
2 gallons happy frog soil amendment
1 gallon Pete moss
Small scoop composted chicken shit
Let it sit a week or so, the chicken poops a little hot.

This thing almost broke off completely, 2 of the 4 branches split badly! It recovered from the bending, and from the breakage, and is still looking good, I’ll need to do something more permanent like a stake for each branch pretty soon.

The Sunday driver and frosted lemons, showing some sensitivity to the dirt still, in fresh stuff. Only giving them water still

I want to switch back to my 32x32 tent, this 2x4 provides nice access, but really only has room for 2 medium size plants. I have 3 now and they fit good but 4 would be to much, and 4 fit in the 32x32 with space for one in the middle of it’s a solo cup on a stand lol.

Holy foxtail! Raise them lights yo!
They are 20” or more from the hps, and further from the led, the flowering one is closest to the light, still looks happy to me? Maybe it’s the sundae driver, that ones droopy cause it was thirsty. Idk let me know what you think?

The layer cake I busted right proper. I can’t tell, seems to be keepin on, I’ll be looking for new growth, Just because she didn’t act pissed off from my manhandling doesn’t mean it’s going to keep thriving.

Cruising along, turned the led up again, the broken mama hasn’t stopped growing I’m surprised. Also I had a wedding cake in a previous grow and it was very very brittle it was shocking how brutal it was and layer cake is wedding cake crust with GMO so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that it was a little more brittle than some of the other ones I’m used to and also patience is so important when im stress training.

I have my lights wired to the top of the tent they cannot go up any higher at all unless I cut the top of the tent off and lay them on the framing. And because the plants are different heights when I put them in I just move them as high as I possibly could and I never worried about it before. This last time however I noticed that the further down the plant the buds were the more fluffy it was much more noticeable. I realized I actually haven’t had them close enough to the lights

I noticed med grower would use crates etc, to boost the individual plants to the proper height. I am going to do the same thing but I am using scraps of wood left over from jobsites! I’m sanding them down and going to put a whole bunch of coats of lacquer on them so their moisture resistant and bug proof.

Soooo my layer cake is still growing like mad! I staled each branch to help stabilize it, but it never really seemed to mind at all! It’s drinking the nutes up every 3 days as usual

Buds from the sundae driver and frosted lemons. Top one is sundae driver bottom frosted lemons, I’ll try to get a better glamour shot later

So I’ve been re-organizing and one thing I decided to do for summer was change my lighting schedule I flipped my lights so that way they were on at night instead of during the day, I always had them going during the day just because it was convenient

Flowers coming along nicely, colors pretty washed from the hps they look different irl

Layer cake the furthest, surprisingly happy most the time.

This is just the led on, better representation of what they look like

These guys are unhappy, I think it’s the air from the intake being overhead blowing down instead of across. I moved everything around a bunch, still getting a better feel of what I need.

Notice the bigger one in the top right corner, the leaves have some lighter blotchy spots.
