Wondering how many bugs I've smoked over the years. Man, some of those are really showing off their rudy traits.

The worst places I've lived for bugs would be Northern Michigan, and the swamps of Coastal Georgia, the Chesapeake region might be a close third. Washington State is a piece of cake in this regard. I used to stay in the swamp when I was working at St Mary's building the Sub base, that was like living hell. Plus 20+ foot alligators.
Bugs doing kamikaze in your eyes, your ears, your nose. God forbid you even open your mouth. It was horrible.

Another thing I never see out this way... I used to collect these kinda things when I was a kid. Rub their intestines all over myself and run like a banshee around the yard.
