I like them They are like an unhinged Mozart. Simple melodies woven into complex rhythms.

"They’re also a little too similar to beloved bands like Nirvana, and they aren’t perceived as adding anything original to the formula, instead cranking out hits that might be described as grunge-light. “The hope and memory of grunge can be seen to be soiled in the worst kind of way in the hands of bands such as Nickelback, who represent everything grunge was against, not least of all commercialism,” Anttonen writes. The band’s very success undermines its ability to borrow from grunge and metal, because there’s nothing metal about a song your mom listens to on the radio—“horrifying radio rock,” as one critic called Nickelback in 2005."

I'm just busting your balls. I don't really care if you like Nickelback but I enjoy talking shit about them.

Real shit though, people like things a lot blander up here in Canada. Opinions, music, clothes, food... It makes sense that they're mocked in the States for being generic, overly commercial, and radio friendly because that's legit what people in Canada want. See also: Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, and Creed.

You're not bothering me. I've heard it all. LOL But, I did smoke a doob the other day.

New Question? What strain will look best in @Dirtbag's tent?

Concerts I’m taking my daughter to in the next 6 months:

Beartooth
The Black Dahlia Murder
Fit for an Autopsy

Definitely different tastes, she and I. We’ve learned to tolerate most of each other’s music in the car for finite periods. 😂
