Sweet! Give a chance to play with hydro excavating!
Dude, you can come help me dig some holes on the mountain out here. I'm scared as shit of falling into a hole. lol😬

I got stuck a few times on the topside trying to drop down from the fire roads above, and almost fell in some 30 foot pits. I had to crab walk the bastard back up the mountain to get out. It was hairy. I'll admit, I don't have a fucking clue sometimes. I'm dangerous that way.

Sometimes I'm just winging it. Try and figure it out as I go along. But you have to have some fundamental respect for what can easily kill/injure you.

Here we go, this will be my official review thread for the newest model of the Spiderfarmer SF4000 inside a 4x4 grow tent. My first time in a very long time growing in a tent... The units for this review were generously provided by @SpiderFarmerLED to run a cycle with and give the fine folks here at the farm my honest feedback on, and I plan to do my best to give this light every opportunity to live up to its potential. I'd like to extentd to them a big thanks.

The Light arrived very well packaged and I was pleasantly surprised to find the diode layout was not as I was expecting. Instead it's far more interesting with the diodes clustered in the corners as you will see in the pics. I expect this to greatly enhance the light spread.

I'll be starting up the grow in the next couple weeks hopefully if all goes to plan. Really excited for this one. The thread might be quiet for a while as I secure some clones, but I expect by early September we will be up and growing.

I'll be running it in a 4x4 tent with either 4 or 9 plants, using rockwool and dyna gro nutrients. Looking forward to this one.

This pic isn't mine, but it shows this thing lit up. Looks really, really interesting.

Stay tuned.
That’s a nice setup brother!! How many wattage are you running out your 4x4? Do you have any suggestions for the rookies growing out of a 4x8 tent, I’m running 3000w and have a total of 11 plants in different stages.

My suggestion would be training, try to keep them low, and spread out. The more you creep a plant along it's underside, you allow fresh shoots to come up, instead of getting a Christmas tree, you get a candelabra form.

I do lots of bending and tying early in the cycle. I try not to "top" per se, just creep it along, bending it progressively outward.

Here's an example of earlier stage, during veg. See how I've bent the top off down to the side, to allow more shoots?

I braved past the hoe's over on Arora St today, just to prove a point here; trying to keep it real.

Cost me $8 for the extract, and $20 for an 1/8 of decent buds. THC content don't mean shit, generally speaking, IMO. I'll let the bud pic's do the speaking for itself. I occasionally keep tabs on what's happening, I want to see what's in the shops, I suppose. Some of my buddies inevitably compare me to them, from time to time.

Here we go. I also did this part to drive home a point. (lowest THC buds I could find) "Wyatt Herbs" "Orange Cookies" 13.39% THC, and Pineapple express extract butter 89.37% THC with lots of orange color B-caryophyllene, very tasty, I am stoned, no doubt.

The buds harvest date was in July, and seemed fresh. Strong orange flavor. There certainly is good products over at the stores, (Here in Seattle at least) but it's certainly a mixed batch. When I taste, experience good products like these, and see the care that was put into growing them, it simply makes me all the more determined to up my game, that's all. There are certainly good stuff that comes from these places, of that I have very little doubt.

Nice, I must say I did get some really nice weed from a dispensary in Port Angeles last time I was down there. Sour tangie, tasted great, looked great. Besides the price I could handle legal weed like that.

In Canada the legal garbage is mostly grown in massive greenhouses with very little care by the looks of it. I know broken coast cannabis is extremely nice, but they didnt have any gram options and and 1/8th is like $50.

Thanks, I'm actually taking the tent down and I'm gonna run an 8x8' instead.

Advice, I'd suggest reading through some of the grow diaries here. Also starting your own grow diary will be a great way to engage other members here to share opinions and help with your grow.

Most important thing is trying to keep the plants fairly similar, I prefer to keep them all the same size and general shape, and ideally all clones of the same strain even. But with several strains be aware they may all have different feeding requirements, and some may stretch more than others in flower.
Go easy on feeding too, less is better.
Prune them carefully, remove any sucker nodes and leaves lower on the plant that are below the main canopy. Usually the lower 1/3 of the plant can be removed/cleaned up and above that I also remove any spindly branches or anything clogging up the canopy.

This wedding crasher from my last crop is really getting nice to smoke. It's been curing for about 6 months now. Barely have to touch it with a flame to light it and it burns such nice clean white ash, unbelievably smooth.

Thank you. Soaps (for me) as a wash-off product seem a waste so I don’t put anything from my cannabis in them. I’d rather ingest or smoke it. Salves, however, get THC, THCa, CBD, CBDa, CBG, CBGa, and menthol.
Yeah...They have lotions and oils infused with CBD and THC (topicals), why not soaps too...👍 The topical THC Oil we get from the dispensary is pretty good, helps with muscle, nerve, and joint pains and headaches...Eventually, we wanna make our own too...😎✌️

Alright, DB's Friday night pissup thread!

Kicking it off with a quick doobie and a dark matter after work, before I even enter the hoose.

Soundtrack for the evening starts off with one of my favourite drunk artists. Love this video. Perfectly suits the debauchery that typically ensues..
