I sure pissed them off just now... I went in the room about an hr ago and topped them all and within 2 mins they were all drooping and lookin pretty upset with me. I said sorry a bunch of times, turned off the lights and ran them a nice hot sulphur bath to relax and calm down a bit.
When they wake up ill reward them for being such good sports with a 1K MH lamp instead of the 400w, and I'll bump up the LED to 60%.

Fact. I'm a real man and I like baths.
Actually I never took baths until this year, but my body was aching after the long workdays in the spring and I got in the habit of soaking in an Epsom salt bath pretty much every single night.
It quickly evolved to a ritual of sitting in the tub for an hour with candles going, puffing on a joint watching JCS criminal psychology videos on my tablet lol.

On that note, if any of you like true crime shows, this youtube channel is addictive as hell. They break down the psychology of police interrogations in such an interesting way. I highly recommend checking it out. This is part 1 of a 3 part episode. So so good.

How do you like the sf5000? Would it fit in a 2x2 tent? I have the sf1000 which is a great light but I think it’s to small. I really like the spider farmer bar lights like the sf5000.

I like the looks of it, but haven't put it to the test yet. And no it wouldn't fit, it just barely fits in a 4x4.

Lowered the 1K HID a few inches and turned the LED up a hair, now sitting at about 500 ppfd give or take under both the LED and HID's. Probably leave it there for a week and let the plants grow up a bit.
Amazed how much light comes off the sf4000 honestly. At full power, it seems to the naked eye a fair bit brighter than my 1k MH. That surprised me to see. But, I will also say, the plants under the HID seem to be getting a little bigger than the ones under LED. Not by much. We'll see how this develops.

Which plants? Have you thought about cross contamination of light sources between the plants? The middle is getting both sides, the sides are getting what?

I did. The HID covers a 4.5'x 8' area and the LED covers a 3.5x8' area in an effort to keep the light spread as even as possible, so the HID have a slightly bigger floor footprint. Left to right, rows 1 2 and 3 look a bit bigger than row 4 which is only really getting LED light.
Rows 1 and 2 have the biggest plants overall so far.
Row 3 gets the most overlap between light sources, but Lux and ppfd are even across the floor.

No, you got it. That's my intake. Blows the air right at the source of heat. And thanks! A lot of thought went Into the design of the ventilation system.
