yeaah, it hit a memory man. i used to know a lot of hobos. some of the coolest young kids you'd ever meet. fucked up home lives, looking to travel but broke as shit, old enough to buy beer though so they'd pick a spot on the map, travel as long as their money would feed em and booze em, hop off, work under the table, then ship out. considered doing it myself but was too caught up in my own dramas. a lot of regret on that part now, was so attached to people and could've easily found the same success. some of em i still talk to are doing just as good if not better than i am. they truly lived, even if a lot of em died in the process.

live fast, die young, leave a beautiful corpse.

bluelab's come with a sponge. the cheap amazon ones don't. hell, half the ones i've bought off amazon have dehydrated probes upon arrival. foot the bill, get a bluelab. they're cheap in comparison to replacing a sketchy piece every year.

i have the PH and TDS bluelab. hence why i am surprised that it didn't have the sponge in it

Does it even have the little sponge cup?
And yes I know my sponge is black and dirty lol, deal with it. It works for me.

Mine looks like this. I keep the little round cup topped up with storage solution.

You should get some of this. Keep the cup full, doesn't really even need the sponge. But that glass bulb needs to be kept wet with a very salty solution.

Not a huge U2 fan. But this song has always stuck with me since I first heard it as a teenager. First time I heard it I was on a couple hits of windowpane. Really drove it in lol. Still love this fuckin song.

I'm sure I've shared this story before. Possibly even in this thread. Lol. But here it is again.

I was about 21 years old. Had this song stuck in my head for a week, but this day I was in my room tending to the the plants growing in my spare walk in closet and this song was just on repeat in my head. It wouldn't stop. So I thought I'd go downstairs and put the TV on Much Music and try to catch it. Much Music was like Canada's MTV. The second I turned on the TV it was already on Much Music and this music video was just starting.

It blew, my fucking mind. Ever since this song has led to numerous weird coincidences in my life. It's like my spirit song haha. Love it so much. Reminds me of when I fled home at 18 and moved to BC big time.

dunno what it's about the end of a run, but it brings out the nostalgia.

had the boy in with me watching a graffiti/hobo documentary, and bed time cropped up. before mama busted in and laid the law down, i was telling the boy, if this is something you want to do in 20 years, I won't fault you. those times were some of the best of my life. wish you better, but if you choose to follow the same path of suffering and hard lessons, know someone's in your court.

glad to have "known" you DB. you've become a fixture in my mind, and a moniker in my household. 🍻

sure hope not. the IPA is control now though boys so watch out for emoting and all that shit haha

DMT is next level. won't fuck with disassociatives, similar to my rule about blasting. ketamine is a blurred line, but i haven't touched that in almost a decade. pcp is a big no-no in my mind though. like being cognizant of my shameful behaviors, and not eating faces lol

Same, been in a few K holes that I did not enjoy. Always been a fan of the downers, opiates and diazepenes, Valium etc. And of course blow. Only did meth for one weekend with a pretty wild, and super hot girl. Wasn't for me. The "intimate times" went on far longer than should be humanly possible.. But I can't do any of that fun stuff anymore. It stopped being fun. Stick to the basics now, strong coffee, cannabis and beer. Mushrooms or acid here and there. Maybe MDMA. Or if I know it's clean blow 🤣 but only once every couple years.

haha key there is "clean". I've yet to come across blow that matched the quality i was getting in NM in my heavy years. shit people call snowflake up here in the PNW is what I call floor sweeping right over the border. different times. old ticker can't handle that one anymore. will dig into the MDMA and MDA every once in a while though. finally digging back into the mushrooms though. hit much harder now that i'm not smoking a half oz a week, i'll tell you what. 1.7 was a very enlightening experience for about four hours. shame that reset has been all but lost in a matter of weeks, but it happened.

check this. it's more along the lines of what i tried to post earlier. long as shit. i gotta make dust, 6am comes early. but this is a goodun. pretty sure this cat's dead now. met him in ABQ as well in my younger, wilder days.
