Well if you mean our food crop and grain farmers, everything they plant, grow, harvest and we eat is geneticaly modified at the dna level.

Even some of the veggie seeds in packs for people who grow their own are,that's why you get big harvests in bad soil , poor weather and bugs leave it alone because they know better,but you pay because the nutritional value isn't there,like beefsteak tomato etc,huge harvest but just filler.

I say we keep the science bullshit out of the plant and keep farming like farmers do. Been saying this for years. This is a plant not some made up synthetic .
It’s like the tissue culture guys out here trying to reinventing the wheel. I now see sterile seed starters being grown and shipped. Why In the world do we need to start seeds in a test tube?

I stated a fact about the future of THC production ... but that doesn't mean I agree with theat approach. It's genetic engineering (GMO) which has it's own potential to open up unpleasant cans of worms. So while I know where the future is heading based on this technology already being used in medicine ... I don't really want any part of big Pharma growing "weed" in a test tube ... I'll grow my own until I'm unable to grow it any longer. By that time I will likely be knocking on death door anyway lol.

P.S. They aren't starting seeds in test tubes. They are injecting genes into bacterium and yeasts and growing things like "human" insulin in an industrial size petri dish. THC will soon follow once feds reschedule or remove cannabis from the list of dangers that permeate our society. As @Blastfact said, this is happening at the DNA level.

I see what you mean now, that's crazy ... but that's not the same as DNA gene splicing. I'm not sure if this "pre-sprouted" test-tube baby is going to become a "thing" or not. It seems to be an attempt to play on people's highest fears (including a mask in the kit?) It seems to me that sterile nitrile gloves should be in there too if they are encouraging mask wearing during removal. What about the sprout's vaccination status? Is that coming next?

@Trustfall I know you're much more up to date on these things than I am ... fill me in, is this a "real thing" that we'll all be seeing in the future or someone's attempt at humor?

I know people that are 3 shots deep and have had the vid bad like 4 times, meanwhile I'm over here saying hard pass and my whole family caught it and we were fine, minor cold like shit, I didn't even have that, I wouldn't have know had I not taken a test. People are like "it's just like a flu shot" and I'm like yeahhhh.... never had one of those either, even when my OB guilted me when I was pregnant. Not that I'm against tried and true vaccines, but I like to keep it to a minimum.

Here cops raids 1-2 indoor plants and now CBD flowers less than 0.2 THC are removed in market (they cant sell it here) but we can order CBD weed our neighbour country. CBD oils are still legal but you can only laugh this country drug politic. We even had citizen initiative this year and they voted 90% no and dont want even talk about drug politic.

Same thing with hLv in cannabis. People are cashing in, $1000 tumi tested approved clones. I’ve know people who have sent in test came back positive, send in samples from the same exact mother plant two weeks later and it’s negative.
