TLO all day! TLO 3 (Druids' edition) coming out pretty soon.

The Rev: "Hey hey...I had the dreaded flu (3rd time I think now ugh) and this time it kicked my ass severely. I’m still shaking off some lingering aftereffects. So that slowed me down, to say the least. I only have a couple of chapters left to go and some addendums. It’s like 45 or 60 days of solid work. For this last week or so I have been getting my shit together for a TLO video, so barring some catastrophe it will be here soon. I had considered at one point that this virus was gonna possibly take me out it was so bad. It also fucked up my brain a little (yikes)! I get that whole “foggy brain” peeps talk about, and although it was very troubling it’s going away. Weird shit changed like my sleep rhythm. My whole life I sleep like 5 or 6 hours a night. Until about a week or 10 days ago, I was sleeping like 10 to 12 hours a night, and man was that screwing with me LoL — I need way more awake time just to get all my shit done per day. So… It should be around Christmas time as long as I can just keep working. I’m doing an extensive troubleshooting chapter, and of course that’s one of the chapters that I have left to do, and that’s the main reason for it taking a couple of months of work at least. Thanks for your support man, I’m back to work and back to almost normal sleeping hours and the brain fog is almost completely gone. So we’re looking good. cheers". Link: The Rev

Friend in the midwest is all about those books and his living soil. He literally has become one with it 😂 sent me this pic and said this is his mycelium after 5 days of growth. I would have thought something was wrong with it 😂

So I, CannaGranny, a 40 year user and purveyor of mighty fine flower have tonight met my match. Alaskan Thunder F@#k. Holy schmokes!
On a south facing porch in the black Ozarks dark with a cup of blond Java, I find myself just wanting to melt in my chair and become one with the night sounds.
I am ripped…completely. That’s all.
Score on ATF..nine outta ten. Ten belongs always to the Creator, but the other nine, he just blessed me with.

Greetings good people far and near. Stoked to get back under the lights after a month or so of being stuck to the couch and ceiling from 1st grow. This thread is a bit of the end of that one and the start of a new.
Thank you sincerely to the kind souls here that helped me get from start to finish my 1st grow. I learned much from all of you and I know it is just the start.

Strains~ all fem photo, Barney's Farm Blue Sunset Sherbert, Barney's Farm Mimosa x Orange Punch, and Seedsman Blueberry
6/6 cracked and placed in Peet Pellets today

The Plant already growing is a GRCxBBC that is 18 years old. I am not sure if I will keep it or not. I am running the 3 above in 7 gal fabs and don't have any more. Only have 5gs and 3gs and I won't have enough room in tent to SCROG like I plan to if run 4. Ehh dang I am going to hate to toss it if do 🥺 her leaves are so soft 😆

Not going to be too long-winded as I have quite some time ahead to do that. Lookin forward to having some fun and becomin "one with the soil" a bit. Hope you will join me ✌️
Greetings my friend, I'm excited for you, I wish you a successful grow. I happened to be growing Mimosa Orange Punch from Barney's farm as well, I'm 3 weeks from sprout on them. I have 3 BubbleBOMB(a little over 3 weeks into flowering) strain in my 4x4 under an HLG SCORPION DIABLO 660watts and 5- plants about 3 weeks into veg under a Slider farmer sf2000(great little light), 2 Mimosa Orange punch and 3 pineapple xx from brother's grimm. I'm fairly new to growing (this is my 3rd grow) and I'm hoping for the best. My first strain was bad, shit weed, no terps, real ugly, so I named it Nancy Pelosi, man it was ugly! I plan on doing better this time around. ✌

Heya @Christos1974 and thank you. Cheers to a great harvest ahead yourself. 1974? 🤔 I was born that year, October 28 to be exact 💪
Ahhhhhahaha on the plant you named Nancy(that blood sucking tick). Is that the plant you posted that has flowers because the other grow looks like the 5 in the closet? So you have 2 separate places to grow, a closet and a tent? That's awesome we are both growin barneys mimosa x orange punch. I'm also growin the Blue Sunset Sherbert although it surely doesn't grow UP. Damn thing may end up never taller than a foot and is slowin my SCROG plans down 😂 If you have a SF2000 and also a HLG Diablo, you have some wicked good lighting and are completely set in my opinion. How long do you plan to keep the mimosa in veg for?

Happy Sunday out there Farm Famdamly. When do you all do your defoliating and undercarriage clean ups? Feel like I am being lazy and that I should have done it more in veg. Now I'm 5 days into flower and literally every single thing I read says different. I had planned/thought of waiting 2 weeks into flower and then another clean-up at week 5 but I am questioning that. I'm trying to be careful not to mess with them as far as slow them down unnecessarily. The GRC x BBC I gave a good lollipop to in veg but that was it for all 4 of them. So I can't help but think(weigh) the difference between all the energy the plants are putting towards leaves and shoots/sucker branches that I am going to cut here shortly anyway, VS the time to recover from stress early in flower if whack em meow. Should I just keep tuckin leaves that block sites and leave them alone? Or is it time to put my foot down and say "NONE SHALL PASS" and clip bottom 2/3rds /everything below the screen. Any thoughts or advice appreciated and thanks

And wth do you do with a plant that won't grow vertically, as far as defoliation goes? The Blue Sunset Sherbert is the one I can tell I need to worry about leaves laying on leaves. They rarely "cry" or whatever it is called when the leaves lay on eachother without air-flow and "sweat". The plant seems to grow so bushy but not vertically. The blueberry is also a slow grower but not like the BSS. I tried to LST it and use screen as best I could to open it up but the dang thing is still probably under 12" tall. I know there is nothing I can do to get her to "stretch" but are there things I might be doing aside teh screen that are keeping her short?

Happy Sunday @PerfecTrader

My preferred method is to remove the bottom/first two nodes at about week two. Usually I'll top at node 8 and clean up to 3.

At around week 3 of flower or just after the stretch I'll remove the lower larfy branch sites and bud sites. Any branch below 50% canopy height gets removed and typically I'll only keep the 5 highest nodes on any branch.

For a plant that is short and fat I would remove the fan leaves facing the inside of the plant. These are just things that I like to do and your mileage typically will vary 😎

You too brotha and thanks much. Ok this is perfect. I'm gonna try to be super strategic about it. Going to try to limit the amount of instances of stress I put on them to 2. My 1st grow I think I kept too many sucker braches and ended up with 13 oz of popcorn. Actually worked out well but I would definitely like some larger flowers this grow, mainly due to ease of trimming on my wicked arthritis. Also I think smaller buds definitely were harder to dry slowly. Tough even indoors here in AZ when RH outside is 40ish

It is 27" high and the Blue Sunset Sherbert is propped up 7"
Lol Bub, I was asking @Shaded_One 🙂
I defoil up through the first three weeks of flower. After that I tuck a lot of leaves. Start by getting rid of anything that points into the middle and anything blocking light. You need both air flow and light penetration.
Ladies are looking lovely 🥰

That's been my method for controlling without scrog - this run I'm doing one plant scrog style so I'm sure everything I do will be completely different aside from the lollipop.

@PerfecTrader i did read up on his guide you posted and he does recommend to top the plant twice.
