i couple are bouncing back but i think the roots are pretty stunted on the others. if the root base is pretty small then maybe some fresh dirt and back into solo cups, much harder to water correctly with small root and large container

Already transplanted lol. Was a little early but not too bad. Mixed in some One Shot with the soil then topped each off with a few TBL of EWC. Didn’t have enough water to get runoff on them so I’ll be hitting them tomorrow with a full watering until runoff. Strawberry and Hella Jelly 2 went in 2G fabric, the rest in 3G.

Here’s a few pics. Funny thing is, my smallest plant had the best root ball, the Sour Power. Probably gonna be a male goddamnit lol. Here’s the roots and a pic of it transplanted.

I wonder how the 2G pots will work out. I will definitely have to use my 2nd tent once flowering starts, but I need to figure out a good topping and LST technique to keep them in a relatively small footprint.

Any topping/LST suggestions to keep them smaller? My other tent is also a 3x3.

Scrog is always a viable option. Mix in a little super cropping and you don't necessarily have to top at all.

It's one of the ways I frequently run things ... but its not the only way. Others I'm sure, have their ideas too.

Yeah I’ve looked into that…but I will need to be able to pull plants out and move them around so never planned to scrog.

I have plant elevators with wheels for plants I intend to move around. I've also used short sturdy (not the flimsy ones) tomato cages inside 5 gallon fabric pots. It gives you tie down locations for LST without being stuck under a net. Add the wheels and your golden.

This is what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DP27WNX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

check this guy out. he has lots of video's

I think topping it once then pulling the branches to the side to grow flush with the pot would be a good method to keep them small. Maybe cut the lowest branches then strip the bottom 3rds or somethin?

if you watch that video he will explain why you don't need to top if you scrog.

You can flip that early? Does it cause any issues?
You can flip early. They won't flower until they are sexually mature. Some people will start certain strains at 12/12 to keep their size down. Issues? Depends on the strain. Its a technique usually used on strains that grow very large ... Like Moby Dick for example.

That’s cool as hell. What about hermie tendencies…do they have more of a chance at popping up when flipping too early?

Gave a full watering today. 2 until runoff, took TONS of water to get a few dribbles of runoff. I think I’ll pick 3 to water until runoff each time and 3 to just water some on top, and then bottom feed the rest. 1G Water + 2 tsp Gaia Mania, took PH down to 6.8 at the lowest. Went through 2 Gallons even after yesterday, and I could’ve used 2 more gallon.
